The Darkin Race and Weapons

So I have been playing a lot of the Darkin characters lately (Aatrox, Varus, Kayn) and I had a realization.

Aatrox = Top/Jungle (typically) Varus = Adc/Mid (typically) Kayn = Jungle/Top (typically)

This kinda makes me feel like, with there being 5 total Darkin in the lore, that perhaps we are still looking for a Mid laner and a Support type Darkin? If this were the case, I also have a further thought. Aatrox is a Sword. Varus is a Bow. Kayn is a Scythe.

I imagine that a Mid Darkin could be a Crown, or a Wand/Staff, or perhaps even a Book. I can easily see the support as something like a set of Armor or a Shield.

What are all your thoughts on this? And maybe a Rioter could give us a hint? ;3

Their beings were trapped in their weapons as it seems they were too powerful to be outright killed like the rest of their invading army. They were probably all high ranking and powerful... yet one got it's powers from a crown? Not so sure about that.

The staff thing makes sense but it seems the Darkin's power are themselves not the weapons. The staff could be just used to channel their magic, right?

I like the idea of a Shield though. How about the 'support' Darkin was a sympathiser to Runeterran and was why the rest got taken down. Also showed the Golden Queen how to trapped them in their weapons by allowing him/herself to be the 'test'?

I think I heard something about a female bloodmage, different from vladimir. Not sure tho where I heard it

I have a hunch that the next Darkin will be Varus' sister... and combining that little teaser story with a known upcoming VGU of a woman who has a weird parasitic relationship with her weapons, Irelia seems like a really REALLY strong candidate for being either another Darkin, or being the first champion to have canonically overwhelmed and exerted dominance over her Darkin weapon.
