Can I get a rioter to explain why autofill is deemed a good enough idea to keep in the game? Getting really, really tired of every otehr game being an autofill. I do NOT care if I have to wait through 9 queues to play the game, if I dont want to play jungle, why in God's name should I be forced to do so?
They tried not having Auto Fill at first. It basically killed the players that treated Fill like it was quasi-random, since it always gave them Support. They stopped putting Fill, which made the problem worse, and it started to get to 30 minute queue times or more the higher up the ladder you went.
So Auto Fill was born. You're more likely to get your Role than you were before the New Champ Select, but you've got a chance that you'll be asked to do something else.
