@Riot have you ever thought about bringing in a gamemode...

...where everything old is new? All that it would require would be bringing back all the old items long removed from League's past. Ex. In the gamemode WOTA and Innervating Locket would be available, Rengar's Bonetooth necklace would be back, and mana pots would exist again.
