Joke: Holy Shrimp! This Scampi Happenin'! (or) We should probably scale back on the fish puns.

Quote upon Selection: Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Fish a man, and I'll eat for a day. (This one was made on the spot)

For those unfamiliar with Mardok, he was a champion concept that got scrapped due to him being a skeleton which are taboo in China. Click the link above to see Mardok. You can look him up too if you wana learn more. Riot would probably have to make him a rotting corpse or mummy creature instead as exposed bone is no-no. He relies on his W pretty heavilly.

In my vision of Murdok, he is melee. He scales off AP, able to go mid, jg, or support. Items like LichBane work well with him, as basic attacks are part of his kit similar to TF and Eve.

Passive: Grim Reeler: Mardok passively fishes for Shades and Spirits. Every 7/6/5/4/3 acquires one of these that appear as a small dead skeletal fish in his backpack as in the picture. On use of basic attacks against targets with 50% health or lower, he expends one Shade to deal bonus damage (40% AP). On succesful spell, he will send out a Shade to deal magi damage and bonus damage in a bleed effect as the Shades dangle and bite onto the unfortunate target. A part of the bleed damage heals Mardok. Mardok instantly collects a Shade on Kill or Assist. (Max: 4) (The healing is based on how in his lore he thrives on the life force of enemies. It would be minor but noticable)

Q: The Hook: Mardok's Hook flies up and lands in a small circle area, pulling the first enemy champion hit. If an enemy is hit they take minor damage, a Shade begins attacking them, and they are pulled nearly in front of Mardok. This ability has 150 units more cast range than blitzcrank's hook, is a small circle instead of a line, and deals less damage. It also homes in on targets Baited or with a Shade attached.

W: Bait!: Mardok tosses out a Shade that flops on the ground for 1.6 seconds then flies up onto the nearest (or the target Mardok has last hit) enemy champion, applying damage from his passive and the bleed. Enemy Champions caught in the radius at the are taunted for X (X=Target's attack speed). Enemy monsters and minions caught in the radius are damaged.

E: Feesh'n Net: Mardok's next basic attack gain's 240 units of range but can intercepted by enemies. For his next basic attack he throws his net, slowing and crippling the first enemy hit by 20% and dealing medium damage and, ofc, applying a Shade. This can apply two Shades, but the target must be underhalf health for the second one to be applied and does not heal him or apply a bleed.

Since Murdok's ult was given to fizz, I'd say Murdok should keep his ult, but still make it unique. This ability is high range, and the AoE is about the size of Janna's ult. The cast range is around 3000 units or less.

R: One Big Fish: Murdok's Channels for 2.2 seconds, casting his fishing rod a large distance away. After the long delay he pulls up a massive fish, fearing enemies hit as it tries to free itself from the hook for 1.1 seconds. It eventually falls back down, free'd from the hook, splashing and dealing damage based off missing health.

Mardok has high damage from his passive, since his abilities don't do much damage to enemies. He is very similar to a ADC or AP Bard. As a support, Murdok can taunt enemies to peel for his adc. He has a hook to pull in enemies. His E slows a small amount, mostly mean't to proc his passive. His combo would be W, proc a Shade, Q which is homing in now, proc a shade, and the enemy is now almost in melee range, more than necesary to land a E, which will proc a shade. The slow will help you landd a ignite or another melee Shade because the target is most likely below 50% health. His ultimate can be used to peel for allies ,finish fleeing enemies, or devastate teamfights where the enemy is grouped. He'd have a high melee basic attack range. In the picture you can see he has a miners helmet. Originally I thought to have that as is passive, he could see walls at the end of a jg corridorr (with a liimit of course), but that didn't synergize and was kinda weird imo. Whether Mardok Had mana, energy, a new resource, fury, or no resource (Besides Shades) that has not been decided. The most likely scenario is he'd have mana.

Anyways comment below what you think of Murdok pls. I liked the idea and wanted to revive it. The ult was made recently too without much thought so it may be broken. Feedback is much appreciated.

If he was scrapped because skeletons are taboo, why would anything be different now? League is even more into China than before now that Ten bought all of their stocks
