LoL skin concept: Dark Star Xerath, Thorsten Erdt

There's already a Thread asking for a Dark Star skin for Xerath and I totally agree. The pursuer of power is destined to become a cosminc entity of dark energy and destruction.

This skin concept went through multiple variations (check out my artstation link for more). The final version has a core inspired by cosmic clouds / nebulae instead of the usual glowy strings. For animations I'd imagine the core to rotate slowly and the glow on the collar could radiate up and outwards, like energy coming out of a rift in space.

I think Battle Boss, Program, and Archlight have the most promise right now for Xerath, of the ones mentioned. They translate well to his style while still providing the opportunity to be very different than what we're use to.

Eternum, like Dark Star, I think would just be boring. Too similar to what he already is.

Why can't he be a big circle that resembles a star?

Q makes him red to a reddish-white and expands his aura as it charges His W could be a quick flash of green His E is a blink of a deep blue and his R an abrasive yellow that pulses with every shot

Maybe with 3 little, vectored pillars. The bottom one resembles his legs in size and shape to fill out the hitbox and his top 2 are more for filling out his head hitbox.

Dark star would be a bad idea right now, because it's too much like normal Xerath, just purple. I'd like to see something really new and different.

Battlecast had a lot of potential to be something very different, but instead it's just "normal xerath, but red". As opposed to his other brilliant skins like "normal xerath, but green" or "normal xerath, but orange". "Oh, but he has a different helmet", you say. Not buying it.

Guardian of the sands is acceptable in being different enough, just not the style that interests me to buy.

Oooooo, that looks NICE. Alternatively, this makes me think that Eternum Xerath would also work, and be comparatively awesome as well.

We are really in a need of a new skin that is high quality and is different from his previous ones. I think dark star fits these criteria for him. I'd wait a year more if I had to, but please make this one a legendary for him. I know it's really much to ask and there more popular champs without a legendary but if you could, please make this a legendary!

I love this concept!! I'm not a xerath player but I'd be down for this release! My only qualm about it isn't anything about the skin, but the fact that Xerath has so many lol and in each and every single one he's a different color.

I have changed the core effect to be more purple and a bit darker. I think this works better.
