Leona Radiant Leona

Leona is one of my favorite champions in League of Legends. Sadly she doesnt really have a great skin. (my opinion) The project skin is kinda bland and the barbecue skin is for fun while the rest is simply old or ugly.

Something that sparked the idea for this skin is the permanent glowing effect on Azir and Radiant Wukong. Since Leona's theme is the sun, I always wondered why she didnt have that glow as well? At first I tested some ideas for an ascended Leona, but wasn't happy with the results, so I went for a radiant Leona instead. The themes are chinese lore and tibetan monks and of course had to give it it's own flair when compared to Wukong.

edit It was mentioned a few times now that apparently I missed that Radiant Wukong was part of a package during the lunar revel which celebrates the chinese new year. Sadly an elephant is not part of the chinese zodiac. The chinese zodiac doesnt offer a lot for leona though. Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig

It's a really cool skin, but I have to take offense to your diss on her current skins, as I love all of them (but I agree that a high-tier skin would be awesome). How would you make this skin different than her base one, since both are about the Sun (besides the armaments)?

Radiant Leona seems a bit redundant. She's already all about the Sun and Sunlight and Radiance. It's like if Vladimir got a Blood Lord skin.

It seems kinda redundant to me. She is already related to the sun, so adding another skin that borrows from that concept just seems like a waste. I think it would be better if she had a Lunar Wrath skin.

Btw I'm not hating on your art, just its implementation as a real skin for Leona. The art is really good.

I really like it, but I find it a bit too monochrome. I have tried to alter some of the colours for better clarity. I have also made a suggestion for an ult :)

  • Made her clothes above her waist brighter
  • Made her clothes below her waist darker (but not the pants as they are already darker)
  • Made her belt red - fits with the gems on the shield and separates her torso from the rest
  • Made the pattern on her pants brighter
  • The ultimate is now a stomping elephant foot, with an elephant trumpet sound
  • The red is just to separate the foot from the indicator and the skies. This can be altered.

Hey, I love your skins (viewed them all). I want to make my own skin concept, but alas, I don't how or what software to get. I am very wary when I download things to my computer (Lord, it took me about a month of reading review sites, player comments, viewing the LoL boards, and so forth before I actually downloaded League, longer before I install it). So, could you give me your expert opinion on what things or apps I should download? Thanks!

I have a question: are your renders 3d models or paintings that are rendered to look like it's 3d?
Because if it is 3d, would it be possible for you to make them a custom skin? I find all of your skins exceptional and I prefer some of them (almost all) to the ones that we actually have.

I like it, but I don't know how this would fit in the chinese new year calendar. Maybe alongside another champ who fits on the calendar, but it would be strange for that champ to have the evil skin... so maybe 2 radiant skins that year?
