PSA to those designing thematic skins

I feel as if you posted your wonderful creations close to the beginning of upcoming events, there would be a higher chance that a Rioter sees it and considers using it!

For example, I just saw a "Spooky Bard" post (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/PMBtAYMQ-skin-spooky-bard) which I think is timed perfectly seeing as halloween/harrowing comes up in 2 months! I feel like this is also the prime time to be posting Christmas-y designs considering thats around the corner as well.

A christmas submission in February is as good as any submission, but I think it just has a higher chance of becoming an actual skin if its before the event, and not after :)

It makes me sad to see a skin post that fits into a theme that has passed recently, because unless it's used next year they wouldnt just randomly add a new skin to the line.

This isn't meant to be pessimistic to those creative people posting skins, but more of a tip I suppose for people who really want to see a skin of theirs in the game :)

I think its better to post it during or after so if a rioter see it they can get it ready for next year posting it two month doesn't give them enough time to make it unless maybe it work best as 750 skin. If you think about it you see a cool bard skin they like it and say we are gonna make it but they don't finish it before the harrowing then we won't see it then they finish at around Snowdown but nope they are not going to release a Harrowing skin for Snowdown so we have to wait a whole year just to get it.

In my opinion it always a good time to post a skin idea. There is always a Rioter lurking around somewhere it just that you might want to post it again especially if its seasonal/event related but don't spam it, that just bad don't do it.

My favorite example is when a champ is just release and people already make skin concept for them I think that is good even though it might feel annoying. Annoying because like really X just came out and you already want a skin for them but that is not the case. Its, "Hey I see you just release a champ here are some idea so start working on so we may see it in a year or so." So overall there is never a bad time to post just be mindful that there is certain time that it might get more exposure.
