Larian - Guardian of the Skies (Mounted Champion concept, tft attributes included)
A lot of champions in the game, such as Sejuani and kled, all have mounts but sejuani's is just there for design and moveset, and kled's is just another health bar. This time, I am making a champion that actually feels like it has a literal living mount, which is a demacian character. The mount is probably what you all will be familiar, that being the silverwing from tft, but really they are called demacian raptors, which are birdlike beasts of some sort (honestly they look like bird versions of shyvana). https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/012/005/612/large/joon-ahn-demacia-raptors-02.jpg?1532533829 Design: I am horrid at doing art on a laptop, so I can just give a description of the champion. For being a Demacian general, he is quite young, around 19 or 20 years old. He wears the traditional Raptor Knight armor as seen here (there will be an option that you can remove or equip his helm with CTRL + 5): http://i.imgur.com/1GlDRTI.jpg He has shaggy black hair, blue eyes, and wields large spear with the tip of it being a large sword blade, which is made entirely of petricite. The demacian raptor he rides, named Razex, is like the image earlier shown, except of course wears petricite armor. Lore: In his youth, Larian learned how to fight with unique weapons that he creates for himself, since he lived in a very poor household. One day, his family reached to the point of ending up broke, so in order to earn money for his family, he decides to work as a soldier, and headed out to war. His most successful weapon, being the swordspear, was taken with him into battle. However, during the battle, a deathly juggernaut attacks the demacian army, and greatly wounding Larian in the process. After the war, which larian pulls himself to safety, a raptor lands, inspecting larian, sensing that he is still alive. It notices Larian's will to survive and to keep fighting, which it spares Larian instead of feasting on the wounded soldier. Larian pulls himself onto the raptor, as it flies off back to the main city of Demacia. Acknowledging his survivability and use of a swordspear, Larian was later placed into the army after his recovery, along with the demacian raptor that carried him off to safety. Now, Larian fights battle after battle; war after war, giving him the title Guardian of the Skies. He is yet to swear revenge on the very brute that wounded him that very day.
Now for the fun stuff. Kit:
Damage: AD Lane: Jungle Role: Fighter/Tank
Let's start with his W since that is the center part of his kit.
W: Dismount/Highwind (15 second cooldown on all levels) Dismount: *While mounted on Razex, Larian jumps off, dismounting from razex and swinging his swordspear in a wide cone range after landing, dealing damage and slowing enemies hit. While unmounted, Larian possesses his own personal health and stats. Highwind: *Larian Jumps in the air at a target location, while razex swoops in under larian, which Larian lashes out his swordspear in a cone range, whilst mounting razex. While mounted, Larian has half the amount of Razex's health added to his.
Passive: Galefiend *Larian is mounted on top of the deadly raptor, Razex, which owns twice the amount of health as Larian, and gains half the amount of bonus hp from items that Larian does, however, Razex's damage scales by Larian's level. Razex acts independently, but follows Larian and focuses on targets that recently attacked larian, or that larian is attacking. *Razex's moveset: Bite: Deals damage to a single target. Wingblade: Deals damage to enemies in a semicircle range out in front of him. Predatorial Maneuver: Razex leaps over a target enemy, and rakes its claws down the target enemy while landing behind them, dealing damage. (under 30% health) Belowing cry: Razex makes a supersonic screech, lightly damaging opponents, but knocking them back from itself, while cleansing itself of cc at that moment (can only do this once each time Razex is alive). *Razex can be killed, despite its difficulty. Razex is afflicted by half the duration of status effects, and takes 90% - 50% of all damage taken (based on larian's level). HOWEVER, Razex is considered a monster at this rate, so smite affects razex as if it is a monster. Killing razex puts him on cooldown for 120 seconds until he returns, or when Larian respawns from death. While larian is mounted, Razex regenerates 1-2% of its maximum health per second (based on ultimate level)
Q: Aerial/Terrestrial Lancer Aerial: *While mounted, Larian swings his swordspear in a wide semicircle range, slowing enemies while knocking them back slightly. When used after E, the ability because Aerial dragoon, which Larian raises his swordspear, lightning striking it to charge the swordspear with lightning, then slams down the swordspear on the ground, making a shockwave of lightning in a circular range, knocking up and greatly damaging opponents. Terrestrial: *While dismounted, Larian dashes forward thrusting his swordspear forward, dealing damage to enemies along the way. After using his E, the ability because terrestrial dragoon, which increases the damage of the dash, and after the dash, lightning rains down alone the path that larian dashed, damaging and stunning enemies for 1 second.
E: Skylord Stance *While not on cooldown, Larian's attacks deal 2% of the opponents maximum health as bonus damage while unmounted, and 1% of the opponents maximum health while mounted, this also applies to his abilities. (razex doesn't have this bonus while larian is unmounted) *On activation, both bonuses are trippled, and larian's next q is empowered, but using the q cancels the effect.
R: Kaiser of the Heavens On cast, Razex swoops in under Larian, entering the mounted mode. On cast, swiftly after being mounted, Razex swoops over a long distance and over all terrain, all enemy champions that Razex glides over, Larian strikes with his swordspear, highly damaging and stunning for 0.5 seconds. Larian can only strike each opponent once. (distance can be measured by target location, but max distance and base damage is increased by ability level)
TfT: *Larian is ALWAYS mounted on Razex. *Larian is counted as a Gold Base Champion, along with yasuo, karthus and etc. *Larian is considered as a Noble, Dragon, and a Blademaster. *Larian's ult is Kaiser of the Heavens, once casted, Larian glides over to the furthest enemy champion, damaging all enemy champions along the way and the target champion.
