Tahm Kench W Request

The slow when eating allies hit Tahm Kench extremely hard. It pretty much makes it to where more often than not, you won't save who you are trying to save. If W is going to make it to where you are slowed so much and grounded, how about allowing Q->W friendly champions just like enemy minions and jungle? The interaction is already built into his kit and it would add a cool interaction to the champion. You would be having to use the mana and cooldowns of both abilities to save an ally but are still massively slowed.

Please think about this idea as in my opinion it would help balance Tahm's W to where you don't have to walk right into your death to try to save a friendly. This even has counter play as the Q can be blocked by enemy champions.

Just before I make my comment I’m just letting you know I’m a Tahm Kench main so people can understand where my perspective is.

I think this is a very bad idea because the very reason Tahm’s W got gutted is because of his amazing ability to save allies and carry them far away from danger. Adding this feature in would just do the exact same thing and result in getting the constant nerfs like he did over and over again.

What I wish Tahm could get to at least slightly improve his support potential is having a weaker slow ( maybe 70%). Or at least be able to instantly spit out an ally instead of having to wait one second to spit out an ally after eating them.

My biggest but most unrealistic hope would be to reduce the cooldown when eating an ally to 50% as well but give each ally have a unique cooldown of when they can be eaten again similar to how Yasuo can’t dash onto the same target twice in a short period.
