Place of Origin (Reincarnation): Urtistan

Current Residence: Unkown.

Raz is an outcast. Currently living for his second time on Runeterra, Raz was reincarnated without parents or memories of his former life. Now he searches for the force that forged him anew, with a single purpose: to find answers. Faster then the wind or any bird in the sky, Raz takes his place as a skirmisher in the fields of Justice.

Raz is a mobile bruiser with decent sustain and consistent damage. Additionally, Raz lacks poke and relies on mana. Without Skygrey feathers, his mana costs can be high and his ultimate can guzzle down mana fast. His life in Runeterra reflects his gameplay, working best alone as a duelist on the battle field. He is more simple then most new champions, taking a step away from toxic behavior and crazy effects.

Passive: Urgent Flight: For every ability on cooldown, Raz gains movement speed.

Additionally, Raz passively gains Skygrey Feathers while out of combat. Casting an ability while at least one Skygrey Feather is active will cause the ability to deal bonus physical damage equal to 30/70/100 +(25% of bonus AD). He can have up to 4/5/6 Skygrey Feather also replace the mana cost for the ability.

Q: Instant Step: Raz takes a fast jump towards a target direction, dealing damage along the way. If he hits a wall, he jumps off it.

W: High Sky Triple Strike: Raz slams his staff down, dealing physical damage and slowing. If he hits an enemy he can reactivate again to repeat the effect, swiping with his staff up. If he hits an enemy a second time, he can reactivate to swipe a final time in a thinner cone deal 50% more damage and stun the enemy.

E: Traveler's Rations: Raz heals for 4 seconds based on his missing health. He also switches stance:

Vindictive Stance: Raz steals 2/3/4/5/6 armor from enemies he damages with basic attacks for 4 seconds stacking up to 14/21/28/35/42 armor stolen. Additionally Instant Step will grant Raz a shield for 4 seconds.

Intrepidity Stance: Raz deals 1/1.4/1.8/2.2/2.4% + (1% per bonus 50 AD) of the targets missing health every auto attack. Also, Instant Step will apply onhit effects, including Intrepidity's bonus on hit effect.

R: :Thousand Step Journey: Passively, every other auto attack against champions will give Raz another Travel Charge.

Raz releases his wings from under his cloak, gaining an immunity to slows and removing the movement restriction while attacking. This effect drains mana every second. While this ability is active and draining mana Raz gains the benefit of his passive as if this ability were on cooldown.

12 Second Cooldown.

Quotes:

Raz is laidback and calm, however he sounds solemn.

Selection Quote: Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.

Upon Leaving Base: A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.

Upon Killing An Enemy Champion: Travel makes a wise man better, and a fool worse.

Taunt: Too often, I would hear men boast of the miles covered that day, rarely of what they had seen.

Taunt 2: To find somewhere new, you must be brave enough to lose sight of shore. You are not.

Upon Placing a Ward: A traveler without observation is a bird without wings

While issuing movement command: Adventure is worthwhile.

Joke: why can't orphans play baseball? They don't know where home is.... too dark?

Joke 2: I still _ haven't found that second sock!_

Lore:_ Some millennia ago, the fastest messenger ever heard of traveled the valleys and hills of Urtistan, a once amazing city of splendor and advancement. Swifter then a horsemen, this legendary traveler carried scriptures and scrolls across massive distances. Carrying his lantern-light with him, its enchanted flame lead him through dark hours. His Utopia had many gifted people, but few were praised as much as this prideful man._

And thus it was so when Urtistan was shattered and broken by The Black Reckoning (Also from Zilean's Lore), this hero wilted, like a flower. His purpose taken, his family taken, his pride taken, and the only thing left to take was his life. And so he took it, his sorrow blood soaking into the broken soil.

Centuries passed and Urtistan withered, silent and empty. Its people were slaughtered and its goods taken. Its farm field salted and its homes burned, the once haven was a symbol of destruction. The cities' heart ached, nearly with a life of its own, and when daring beasts of another realm ventured into the ancient region of power, the city pulsed. The Void Beasts wondered the city, and came upon an odd lantern, old and tattered. And at its touch, it burst to life, bringing a new texture to the air around them. The city's magnificence lit for moments, creating a booming blast, and pouring it's energies into the lost hero. He who is now Raz appeared, new and alive. Urtistan's legend was back, along with a whole new purpose.

By any chance in his past life was he from Urtistan? I ask because his robes remind me heavily of that of zilean.

Hello there! As a fellow CCOS participant, I welcome you to the good neighborhood! Which pretty much means people are tearing apart each others entries but are cool about it. Oh well! So much fun to be had!

So I'll be saying some stuff about your concept and you are explicitly allowed to do the same with mine. I'll link it at the end :P

First off I'll leave the lore out, since it neither is really bad, nor particularly interesting. If you feel able try to write a little story in addition to the general history stuff, so we get to know the character a bit more. But that's just me I suppose, as I said, it's quite alright as is.

Now, the kit... First off I would like to call out the lack of numbers. I am not sure how heavily that would impact a possible rating, but it certainly will be difficult to see which abilities bring the damages and if they are to high. That said, I cannot fully see the potential OP or underwhelming abilities and with what they scale, so I will just estimate.

The passive kind of rings my alarm bells. The Urgent flight part seems perfectly fine, unique even, but that Skygrey feathers part... hm. It istn't like this could be OP per se, as I have no damage numbers on Q or W or the mana pool, but it seems like a balancing threat. Let me put it like this: If you hit a Q full W combo, with all feathers you can have, you add casual 400 damage on top of your normal ability damage plus the bonus ad scaling. Without even spending mana. And still have two more feathers, given the recasts of W consume one feather on their own. And that seems kind of unreasonable.

The second thread I see is the E. Now, I kind of like the idea of stance changes, especially in the way you intend to incorporate it. But you also put a heal on it. That creates a unique problem: Stance changes in general want to have a short cooldown, 3 or 4 seconds or so. Heals should not have. So you either put a high cooldown on it, which will make the player commit to the stance for the time being, making the shift less intuitive, or make the cooldown laughably low, and the heal abusable or abysmally small. Either way, it hinders one part of the ability. I would see, if you can't put the heal somewhere else in the kit, maybe as a special treat in the last W strike, rewarding them even further for sticking around and soaking some damage.

Now R is a peculiar ability, where Q and W are solid. I don't know if it works for people that turned off auto attacking as well, but I think it has potential, though everyone will recognize it as a slightly weird Yi Ult. But well, pretty straightforward. Though I want to know what's up with the travel charges. They are not mentioned anywhere else, just like the "Intrepidity's bonus on hit effect" on the W. What are those? Where do they come from? What do they do? Where do they go?

That was my feedback, I hope you don't hate me (please don't hate me D: ). If you want to take a good look on my concept, feel free to check out Strak, the Sparkkiller. Anyways, I hope I could help :D

See ya!
