Gender: Female Race: Human Nationality: Demacian Allegiance: NONE Age: 80 with the appearance of a young woman. Play style: Mage Sub-Play Style: Support

Renn is meant to be played in a very strategic way. your main skills are ok by themselves but can be devastating if used in conjunction with Dreamer's Sand. The sands allow her to shield herself at a higher rate or deal more damage. There is a trade off for what you use it for making her very versatile in the style of play.

                                                                                   ***Stats***

Auto attack: short ranged sand throw. Range: 550

Passive: Dreamer's sand: Renn stacks dreamers sand every 6/5/4 seconds. She stacks max 6/12/15 stacks increasing movement speed by 1% (max 10%) for each stack. One stack can be removed every 6 seconds by enemy champion spells.

Q: Dreamer's Remorse: Targeted Shield | Linear Colliding Skill Shot | Cost: 65/75/80/85/90 Mana | Range: 600 | Cooldown: 10

Cast: Renn surrounds herself or target with dreamers sand giving a shield for 50/60/75/85/100 (+45% Ability Power) lasting up to 7 seconds.

[Stack effect: Can consume up to two stacks of Dreamer's sand increasing magic resist and armor by 5% for one stack and 10% for two.]

Recast: She can activate this spell again sending the shield in the direction of the mouse. Target takes 50/60/80/110/140 (+45% Ability Power) magic damage. The longer she maintains the shield the more bonus damage it does (10/15/20/25/35/45/55 at 7 seconds.) The shield must not have dissipated from damage in order to be recast.

[Stack effect: Can consume up to two stacks. One stack increases bonus AP to 55% and two stacks increases bonus ap to 65%.]

W: Dreamer's Call: Ground Targeted | Arching Skillshot | Cost: 70/85/100/115/130 Mana | Range: 800 | Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8

Cast: Renn targets an enemy and throws a bag of sand. If the sand hits target they are put to sleep for 2/2.2/2.5/2.7/3 seconds and dealt 70/120/150/180/200 (+50% Ability Power). Damage from enemy champions can cause champion to wake up. Damage needed: 200/250/300/350/400. (This applies to any source of damage).

[Stack effect: Consumes up to two stacks of Dreamer's sand. One stack increase Bonus AP to 55% for one stack and 60% for two. Increases max damage needed to wake the champion by 10% for one stack and 20% for two stacks.]

E: Dreamer's Pool Ground Cast | AOE SLOW | RANGE: 900| COST: 70/80/90/100/110 MANA | COOLDOWN: 13/12.5/12/11/10 Cast: Renn hurls a shard of concentrated ethereal sand toward target area that explodes into a quicksand like pool (size slightly larger than singed's mega adhesive). enemies in the pool are slowed while in contact with it for its duration of of 3/3/3/3.5/3.5 seconds for 20/25/30/35/40%. enemies caught within the pool upon its end are damaged for 30% AP plus 5% of maximum health over 5 seconds.

[Stack effect: consumes up to three stacks. One stack increases slow by 10% , AP by 5%, and max health damage by 1%, two stacks by 20%, 10% and 2%, and three stacks by 25%, 20%, and 4%.]

R: Dreamer's Nightmare Champion Targeted | Targeted cast | Cost: 120/150/200 Mana | Range: 2000/2500/3000| Cooldown: 120 seconds Renn leaves her body and enters the ethereal sands. During this time she is revealed to enemy champions. All enemy Champions in range are revealed to Renn for 6/8/8 seconds. A mark also appears letting the enemy team know that Renn can enter their minds. She must choose a target during the time enemies are revealed she may also recast to return to her body. Her chosen target is revealed to friendly champions. Upon entering the mind of an enemy champion she changes her skill set. If Renn doesn't choose a target 1/4 of the cooldown is reduced.:

Q: Sleepwalk: Forces the champion to move according to her will (she controls enemy movement, enemy can control spells and auto attacks. Duration 3/3.5/4 seconds)

W: Night Terrors: Causes confusion and whatever is closest to her (she casts spells at whatever champion is nearby friendly or enemy. (The enemy champion just automatically uses spells, basically AI controlled). enemy maintains control of movement. Duration 3.5/4/4 seconds).

E: Sleep Paralysis causes the enemy to freeze in fear. (Champion is rooted in place but can still auto attack and cast spells. Duration 3/3.25/3.5 seconds)

R: True Nightmare Causes the player to go mad temporarily and harm themselves. (Champion harms themselves for 200/300/450 damage +90% AP over 3/3/3.5 seconds.) Renn returns to her body after damage is dealt.

If at any time Renn is killed the ultimate ends.

Her Ultimate is a very complex one. Once she takes control of the enemy champion her skills are replaced by the three actions. Q would allow her to take over the enemy champions movement. W would let her throw out spells randomly. E would basically root her while letting the champion Auto attack. The three different approaches would allow her to set up ganks or change the tide of a fight. If she took over an ADC she wouldn't want to let them attack so she may take over their spells or auto attacks so that the ADC couldn't move. For a mage or assassin she may want to take over their spells potentially preventing major damage to her team (this is under the assumption that the closest champions are enemies not friendlies.) A tank could have his/her movement taken over providing a path to enemy squishes.

Example Combos: Engage with 6 stacks of dreamers sand. W-Q-Q

                                                                                      ***LORE***

In Runeterra there are stories told of the one who will bring children sweet dreams or cursed nightmares. Renn, a being of great beauty, was once a royal in the high courts of Demacia, but was cursed by an evil wizard who grew angry when she denied his vies for affection. The curse he afflicted her with placed her consciousness somewhere between the realms of two worlds, the conscious and the subconscious. He knew that this eternal slumber meant that no one would be able to have her. Fate had other plans. When she awoke in that land all she could see for miles was sand. This sand however, was not of the Shrumia variety that she had seen. No this sand glowed with a slight yellow hue. Her first instinct was to walk and so she did. The hours turned day to night and this cycle repeated for a week with no end to the sands in sight. She found it strange that she never felt tired, thirsty or hungry. She sat in the sand, crushed by the thought of remaining here forever. As the night settled in once more the hues of the red sand around her began to shift colors. It glowed a blue hue, instead of the usual yellow. She grabbed a handful and let it slip through her fingers. As it feel she peered through it catching a glimpse of what appeared to be a small child’s room. Astounded she tried a second time. This time she reached through as if she would be able to reach the small girl. As if reacting to her the little one shifted in her slumber. Renn then shouted through the sand for help, the girl instantly awoke and the sand faded back to yellow. Renn pondered what this could mean. She walked a ways down and sat again. This time she found that the sand was red. She once more ran it through her hands. A boy tossed and turned in his bed and Renn tried to empathize with him. As the ran the sand through she saw this boy’s dream. A demon crow was chasing this boy through a dark forest. Renn wanted nothing more than to wake this boy up so she screamed but he could not hear her. She ran the sand once more through her hand concentrating on changing what was happening in the dream. As she concentrated she began to see her image come through in the boys dream. He grabbed her and began to cry. As she held him she imagined giving him the courage to stand up to his fear. The boy turned around newly invigorated. She imagined a sword shield and armor, and the boy became clad in it. He began to charge the crow, and Renn began to fade back into the sands. The red sand had shifted into that same blue hue from before. The boy slept sound now. She wondered what this meant. Was it all a dream? She looked at the boy’s face. She recognized it as being a farm boy that she used to buy apples from in the market in Demacia. She began to slowly realize where she was. Although she had no proof, she sat in an ethereal plane above the world that let her see the dreams of those below. She spent years in the sands honing her newfound abilities. She was able to see the pools without sitting down and concentrating. Eventually she was able to help those who were older, soothing any and every red sand pool she came across. She would entertain herself by watching the blue sand pools whose dreams were of laughter and adventure. After a while she was able to see specters of the owners of the pools sitting above in slumber. She eventually was able to seem shimmers of thoughts of those who were awake. She continued on this path accepting her fate. As she did, her legend grew among the people of Demacia and then Runeterra. 60 years passed to the day she woke up in the sands and she was walking her usual path. This day she came across a familiar specter. This figure was the wizard who had cursed her. He slept sound in a sweet dream. She grew angry with him, that, although he had put her here, he felt no guilt. She entered his dream, and stood and watched from a distance as he was carried through the streets of Demacia as a hero. Her anger grew, and she began to change form. She twisted and convulsed until her form was no longer recognizable and she took on the shape of a dragon. She roared through these dream streets and tore apart the city. The wizard came to save the day but she quickly devoured him. She pulled back from the dream to see that the sand had shifted to red. When she ran the sands through her hands the wizard was no longer in his bed but outside in the streets striking magic against the walls of other buildings. The guards came and took him away. She smiled wryly, and was bittersweet about the scenario. She had only accomplished sending him to prison. Things needed to be much worse. She looked for his specter but could not find it. Frustrated she slammed her hands into the sands and the split open revealing the city of Demacia below. Here she saw the beams of light that shifted the colors of the sands. These beams were the Projections of people’s dreams or nightmares that showed through the sand above. She sat in awe. This was the first time she had seen anything besides sand in two years. She spotted the guard running the wizard to the castle dungeon and followed splitting the sand as she traveled along. She practiced on him for months making him walk, freezing him in place and creating night terrors that haunted him. He slowly grew insane spatting to the guards about the woman in red. She left him be after three months. There was nothing more she could do to him and the feelings from his torture did nothing for her. She left to return to her normal routine of helping others. The next few days were spent in her normal routine. She helped others in need. However in the distance she saw a strange light, one she had not seen before. The sand in this particular pool was a purplish hue. She approached the sand quickly strangely attracted to it. She tried running the sand through her hands but only saw black. She split the sands in this pool and nearly fainted. The body below was her own, but a much weaker and paler version. She sat and wept, seeing the remains of her former body. She picked the sand up once more and let it run through her hands. She concentrated and the black slowly begin to take a shape. The shape of a room. She entered into this and found herself lying but unable to move. She slowly uttered the words “help.” They were answered by a butler. Where was she? Was this a dream? The butler astonished ran out of the room to return a few minutes later with water and food she ate and drank and felt a bit stronger physically but mentally she grew tired and soon she awoke in the sands. She, for the first time in years felt tired. She lay down in the sand and slept. When she awoke she tried again and succeeded and as time passed she was able to maintain control of her body for extended periods of time. Before long she was in her body for as long as she would like, however she was constantly in a state of drowsiness, almost like this reality was a dream. She asked how her body was maintained, and the Butler said that a mage had preserved her body using magic. When she gained enough strength and recovered she left the medical center and ventured forth back to Demacia. She learned that no one remembered who she was. She grew frustrated and sought out the wizard for answers. She bought a room in a pub nearby where the wizard was being kept. She slipped back into the sands and found his specter covered in a pool of red. She entered his dream and tried to calm him but to no avail. Angry she decided to try and wake him up by making the nightmare so bad he would wake from the shock. Chaos ensued. He seized violently before casting a spell that took his life. Renn pulled back, she sat shaking in the sands. The pool turned black and then vanished into the air. She moved back to her body and proceeded to leave living in the country trying to forget the horror she had bestowed upon that man. She figured her life would end but two hundred years passed and she saw nothing change. Not even her physical body. After the last Rune war passed she heard that Valoran had established the league. Eager to try and atone for her sins by fighting for her city state she jumped at the opportunity to fight in the league. She entered by way of a knight named Garen whom she had helped as a child on multiple occasions. He recognized her almost instantly and after talking for a while they agreed that it was best for her to join the league.

In Champ select: "I see your deepest desires summoner."

Recall "Finally a chance to kick back and relax."

Movement: "My eyes are too heavy to see where I'm going." "You woke me from my nap." "That seems awfully far to go." "So much to do so..... (starts yawning)." "Every new click is one less chance for me to sleep." "Seriously?!?! all the way over there?" "Maybe Later... Fine." "Can't we just click where I am now?" "I can't move, the sands are tired." "This is the last time then I'm taking a nap."

Joke: "Mr. sandman, bun bun bun bun bun, bring me a dream." "Let me tell you about last time I was in (champ in games) mind." (global) "For sleepmacia!"

Attack: Sleep shall be your demise Your dreams reveal much about your desires I will be the one to cleanse your mind.

Taunt: "Oh my I wish I hadn't gone inside that head. (points to nearby champion if one is there.)" "I see inside your head. My eyes are up here. (points from chest to eyes.)" "Get out of my head.... Oh wait that's your line!" "The sands have whispered to me. You need to be cleansed."

DANCE: Lays on ground and goes to sleep. alarm clock goes off she smashes it. (special thanks to showcase for the alarmclock idea.)

LAUGH: sleepishly lets out a giggle followed by a yawn and a stretch.

Death: "The sands can finally take me away." "There are still so many dreams that need hope."

Special interactions - because why not

on her Q with other champions any other scientist (I.E. Viktor, Ziggs, Zilean, and others) I'll protect those who wronged me.

on her R upon entering there minds:

Sion: "There sure isn't much going on in here!" Jinx: "Oh. Dear. Lord." Garen: "Why is everything is so yelley..." (shouts this) Lee Sin: "Its quite dark in here" Teemo: "I have seen what hell looks like." (only omega squad teemo) Nasus: "I sense a longing for a lost friend." Renekton: "So much anger, so much pain." Ziggs: "Quite a few screws loose in that one." Vel'Koz: "we get it, consume and learn. Lighten up a bit." Rengar: "Your Nemisis is a red dot?" Lissandra: "your emotions and desires, nothing but ice." Aatrox: "War. War never changes." Alistar: "You really hate being called a cow..." Amumu: "So much sadness. I feel your pain little one." Annie: "For one so small, you seem so strong." (get the reference haha tarzan. nothing to do with annie but w/e.)

                                                                                   ***Design***

See the pictures. Her design would be a combination of the two pictures posted. The lady in red with the orbs would be the main character design, but she would be more ethereal like the creepy girl in the trees. Also donning a small side jug containing her dreamers sand.

Alternate Skin: I was thinking she would be perfect for the blood moon skin sets, soul reaver skins, a presleep her where she is less ethereal (kind of like kass prevoid) as she was a princess, a true form now where she is this withered old lady, a fire skin like firefang ww or volcanic wu, and finally an evil Renn where she used her powers to cause night terrors.

I've never been really good at judging appropriate stats for champion concepts, so I ask for feedback from all of you!

I'm also gonna plug my other champ concept here: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/skin-champion-concepts/QQgs8iw8-koru-the-dragons-bane-20

PS IF ANYONE WANTS TO DRAW HER BE MY GUEST! IT WOULD HELP BRING HER MORE SENSE OF BEING A FULLY PREPARED CHAMPION.

i can see how much effort you put into this, i hope riot takes this into consideration

i would just like to suggest a slight change to the passive, it needs to be more.... unique ( Heimerdinger )

#REVIEW UNDER CONSTRUCTION - I'm working on it now. Forgive formatting, etc.

Here is my honest review. I will look to keep all suggestions and opinions reflective to the core of the concept.

Renn, the DreamWeaver

Love the name. Love the title, love the theme. Different while having alot of creative possibility.

Stats Health: 489(+70 per level) Mana: 358 (+45 per level) Attack Damage: 52.04 (+3 per level)
Attack Speed: 0.625 (+2.1% per level) Movement Speed: 310 Health Regen : 5.49 (+0.55 per level) Mana Regen: 7.5 (+0.6 per level) Armor: 20.234 (+3.5 per level) Magic Resist: 30 (+0 per level)

I'll get back to this.

Skills Auto attack: short ranged sand throw. Range: 550

Perfect. Theme fitting. And I would love to hear the sound effect on hit.

Passive - Dreamweaver’s rest – Renn and friendly champions have increased health regen by an additional 10/10/15/20/25%.

Needs a full change. Way too similar to Heimerdinger. The champion background lends her to fill either a mage or support role. From the current kit, it seems you choose the latter so I'll run with that. I like the idea of getting more powerful with time / charge to keep using the general themes of: sleep, and nightmares, and control of sand. Here is a passive that plays to that.

PASSIVE: DreamWeavers Rest Self Targeted Mark | Self Targeted Buff | Auto Targeted Persistent Area of Effect Radius: 400

While not in combat for 4.0 seconds, Renn begins gathering stacks of Dreamer's Sands every 2.0 second, to a max of 5 slowly swirling around her. She gains 3% movement speed for every stack of Dreamer'Sands. When Renn takes damage, the sands falls to the ground in a 400 unit radius, lingering for 4.0 seconds and removing all stacks. Enemy champions in the area have their attack speed and total base health regeneration reduced by 3% per stack.

Q – Cost: 65/75/80/85/90 Mana - Range: Self; 600 - Cooldown: 10 Dreamers remorse – Renn surrounds herself or target champion with dreamers sand able to take up to 45/55/75/85/100 (+35% Ability Power) damage for 7 seconds. She can activate this spell again on an enemy unit/champion causing 24/35/40/55/70 (+20% Ability Power) magic damage by sending her shield as a skill shot towards enemy champions (hits on the shield cause reduced damage). The longer she maintains the shield the more damage it does (max of 50% at 7 seconds.)

Q: Dreamer's RemorsUnit Targeted Shield | Linear Colliding Skill Shot Range: First Cast - 600. Second Cast - 60 Leash Range: 1200 Cooldown: Cost:

First Cast - Renn commands the sands to shield an ally champion for 45 / 60 / 75 / 100 / 135 (+35% AP) damage. Renn will be able to have a second command as long as the sands stay within 1200 units.

Second Cast - Renn commands the sand to shoot out in a line damaging the first enemy unit hit, dealing the current remaining strength of the shield plus 25 / 35 / 40 / 55 / 70 (+20% AP) in magic damage. __

W – Dreamer’s call – Cost: 70/85/100/115/130 Mana - Range: 800 - Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 Renn targets enemy champion and throws a dream bomb. If dream bomb hits target they are put to sleep for 2/2.2/2.5/2.7/3 seconds and dealt 90/150/200/250/275 (+80% Ability Power). Any damage from enemy champions causes champion to wake up. (This also applies to tower hits and any other substantial damage. Ignores minion damage.)

E – Dreamer’s Blessing – Cost: 40/50/60/70/100 Mana - Range: 600 - Cooldown: 15/12/10/9/8 Passive: increases Renn’s movement speed by 10% Active: Renn throws the dreamers sand into the wind healing for 70/90/120/150/200 (+15% Ability Power) Health and half as much to nearby allies.

Here is a case where I can use the charge mechanic with healing, creating a nice visual effect too.

*E: Dreamer's Blessing

R – Dreamer’s Nightmare – Cost: 120/150/200 Mana – Range: 1000 – Cooldown: 120 seconds Renn disappears and enters the mind of enemy champions causing them to hallucinate for 2/3/4 (based on rank)seconds, damaging the closest champion (friendly or otherwise.) During this time Renn can do one of three things.

  1. Take control of the champion’s movements only,
  2. cast spells on no specific target or
  3. do nothing and let the champion auto attack.
The opposing player controls the remaining two options (I.E. if the champion controls movement the player can still control attacks and spells). At the end of the spell Renn reappears at her starting position. Range (1000)

LORE In Runeterra there are stories told of the one who will bring children sweet dreams or cursed nightmares. Renn, a being of great beauty, was once a royal in the high courts of Demacia, but was cursed by an evil wizard who grew angry when she denied his vies for affection. The curse he placed on her put her consciousness in between the realms between her conscious and subconscious. He knew that this eternal slumber meant that no one would be able to have her. Fate had other plans. In this state she slept for many years manipulating dreams which reside in the subconscious. In her subconscious she was always surrounded by sand, and she learned to control it. She soon was able to enter the unconscious minds of animals and after a long period she could manipulate the dreams of children. She used the sand in her subconscious to leave messages for them. The children were disregarded when bringing up the story to their parents. She grew angry and began lashing out at the children and parents by sending them nightmares (something much easier to send than trying to appear in a person’s subconscious). The kingdom grew worried when this began happening all over, with some individuals being driven mad. The stories of white gowned demon spread. Eventually she was moved to a dungeon in the countryside where she could no longer harm anyone. Unfortunately a poor villager passed through on a warm summer’s eve. As he rested under a tree Renn entered her mind and began to take control. Her power had grown over the year she had been constrained to the hillside. She was able to fully control the individual and had him grab her body and move it to a hut outside the castle. From there she began to seek vengeance. First she dealt with those who had moved her by sending them into a fury attacking any and all individuals and causing them to be imprisoned. Finally she searched for the wizard. After three days she found his conscious and waited. Once he slept she used her new power to create an ethereal sand around her. She flew through the streets to the wizards lab. She enter his mind taking control of his body. After torturing him for hours his consciousness fading into nothing, slipping beyond Renn’s reach. She immediately regretted her actions, and entered more into her subconscious. However her dreams spread into others dreams. They felt her pain, her suffering, the moans and howls in the night stirred rumors that Renn had returned. One night a young Demacian Knight slept and felt Renn's Pain. The young soldier named Garen, awoke in a terrible sweat. Fearing nothing he fell quickly back into slumber to try and let Renn reach out to him. She felt the presence of a Subconscious willingly letting her enter his mind. She obliged and explained the situation to Garen. He understood what he had to to and explained to her what his plan. She agreed knowing it was the best course of action. After giving him her position he took Renn. There was no cure for her ailment, and she could never fully control her subconscious again. However by giving her to the league he could prevent her from accidentally or otherwise harming other individuals.

Her lore was really rushed but I'll work on it later Depending on the feedback I get. Any any all suggestions for alterations are welcome!

In Champ select: I see your deepest desires summoner.

Movement: My eyes are too heavy for this. You woke me from my nap. That seems awfully far to go.

Taunt: Oh my I wish I hadn’t gone that head.

All good to me. I would say in the dance, add something about smashing an alarm clock.

I like it. Yup. That simple.

I'm more of kit design person so in terms of reviewing, so areas outside of that I'm weak at.

I've seen a similar ult concept on champ concepts lately, I think it was for the Void Symbiote support or whatever, but I love the idea and I hope it happens someday. Also I like the idea of the sleep cc!

1.I'm assuming from the healing that this is a support, right? She has two AoE heals, so she seems a bit teamfight oriented to me, however her Dreamer's Call would have an incredibly short duration in any fight with AoE abilities, or multiple allies fighting in the same space (teamfights). It looks to me like a Nami bubble that can be broken by Nami's teammates. That's just me, though. Maybe you see it with a different purpose, which I would love to hear.

2.Healing is something that Riot hates with the smoldering scorn of a jilted lover. So much so that when they remade Soraka, they deigned that not only could she no longer heal herself, but it would actually harm her to heal others. So, you've got the passive and E which are both heals. Probably not dynamic for Riot, but I am an old support and love heals. Maybe look at making them more dynamic? ...Riot loves blinks.

Passive: Dream Powder. Every 5 seconds, Renn gathers 1 stack of Dream Powder. Dreamer's Remorse and Dreamer's Call produce 1 stack each upon use. Renn can hold 4, 6, 8 stacks (scales with level). Renn gains an additional 1% movement speed per stack of Dream Powder.

(E) Dreamer's Blessing: Costs x mana, 4 stacks of Dream Powder, 1 second cool-down. Renn reaches into her satchel and throws Dream Powder to target location. Allies are healed x amount, and the area affected by the Dreamer's Blessing is revealed for x seconds. If used with fewer than 4 stacks of dream powder, Renn instead blinks to target location and adds 7 seconds to the cool-down.

...meh, needs work.

3.Q is actually quite layered and I like it. A skill shot which increases in damage over time from a shield on an ally? You have to pay attention to when the shield is going to break to get the maximum use out of both the offensive and defensive capabilities. Good idea. Also takes Lulu glitterlance skillz.

4.Ulti is great. We've seen a lot of control suggestions, but I think that requiring the player to make a choice beyond just whom they will control is the kind of thing that separates this skill from others.

I'm not a numbers scaling guy, so I'll leave that critique to the others.

I really like what you've got going here. Yep. That's all I've got.

...goodnight, Gary Wright.

Edit: youtube didn't successfully link, because I don't use the boards often. More edits: clarification

Dear lord and I thought Yasuo was overloaded.....I couldn't even bring myself to finish reading that passive.
