Proposal: Riot - Nintendo Partnership for skins

I honestly have no idea why this isn't a thing yet. This would be a win win win situation for all 3 participating parties: Riot, Nintendo, and the players. I'm sure Riot would sell an insane amount of skins that this partnership would allow, Nintendo would receive some % royalties per sold skin, and the players, well, we'd get to play as:

Donkey Kong Volibear Mario and Yoshi Kled Princess Lux Bowser Rammus (just rename King Rammus already) Toad Teemo Snake Rattle'n'Roll Cassiopeia Belmont Vladimir Metroid or MegaMan Ezreal Pikachu Kennen Zelda Ashe

etc etc.

Why is this not a thing yet?

I suspect it's not a thing because Riot seems to want to keep their own IP relatively pure, and Nintendo is actually rather well known for doing the same (save for a few overlaps in Super Smash Bros). It's two of the big game companies I'd say are LEAST likely to do something like this, actually.

Plus, I think Riot's skin sales are actually doing pretty well, and all this would likely do is take the same amount of work (to make the new skin) for less reward (since Nintendo would take a cut).
