Ryze
Yeah im talking about ryze. He has been reworked a lot...A LOOOOOOOOOT- And he still tends to suck(no offence to ryze lovers intended)- I personally feel he could use a good change that can stick for a long time. Now i have a rough concept. I'm not saying it is good or the best- I want to use my own idea to kick-start a community discussion- So please leave your own ideas and thoughts in the comments and without further adieu here is my own personal idea for a ryze rework
Passive- The mana to ap idea is fairly unique so i will leave it there
- hitting champions with overload will generate a rune- once ryze generates 4 runes his active cooldowns are reduced
1-Overload-overload sends out magic in a line skill-shot- this can be tapped but also held and charged to increase the range and damage + While holding overload pressing spell-flux will hold it active- when you release overload- spell-flux will be cast in the same direction at a faster speed
2-Rune prison-Mark an area in-front of you- enemies inside are slowed increasingly over the course of .75 seconds. If they do not exit before that time ends they will be rooted in place 3-Spell flux- spell flux sends out another line skill-shot- this passes through minions and on champion hit it detonate's applying spell flux to all other champions within the area(alternatively spell flux could just bounce between targets- hitting a spell flux marked target with overload will cause it to bounce from them to nearby enemies marked by spell flux- removes the mark 4- realm warp- realm warp has three charges- tapping the ability will cause ryze to perform a short range instantaneous blink to the target location- holding the ability will create a portal underneath you after you release- the width of the portal and the distance it transports you and allies is determined by how many charges you consume
General idea- Ryze's realm warp can now offer more personalized mobility options especially in combat- by holding 1 and using spell flux to hold the spell you can pop into range of a teamfight- cc a group of enemies and let overload loose- the subsequent bounces will, in the best case scenario, fill up your runes and reduce the cooldowns of your ult charges and basic abilities- I think this keeps his spellslinger theme without making him spastic or slow- he comes into a battle with a burst charged up and then can repeat that if he plays his cards right.
