Welcome to the League of Concepts champion spotlight featuring Jadgar, the First Marshal of Noxus.

I'm Sexy Bisex Plant and I'm glad you joined me there.

#Basic informations:

Class: Controller Subclass: Disruptor (Secondary Enchanter) Preffered role: Support

#Lore and theme

My idea was to make a Noxian support with a goal to make the player feel like they are the "leader" in the botlane and ADC that they're the soldier that is commanded. The secondary goal was to utilize the spell I made up for a Swain rework concept but many people said it feels too support-like.

Kieran Jadgar is one of the most valuable cheiftains of Noxus. While not as powerful as Swain or Darius, he's definetely in the highest circle of the Noxian meritocracy. Jadgar is known to like to operate with small units behind the enemy lines or undertaking small side-quests that end up having huge consequence on the main battlefield.

Quotes: Towards an allied champion (when idle) "Move your lazy ass!" (upon missing a last hit) "What am I working with?" "All just incompetent imbeciles..."

(killing an enemy champion) "What you do not do yourself..." "And you got behind all my guards?!" (using Q) "Charge!" (using Passive enhanced auto) "Ready. FIRE!" (using E) "Raise the barricades!" "We're gonna encamp here." (using R) "Go." "Be my eyes." "Tell me something new."

taunting Swain "As you wish, grand general." "Yes, master." Darius "Lead them forward. I'll do my stuff..." Leblanc "Keep your tricks for yourself, I have no interest in your little club." JarvanIV "An idiot behind his huge walls - I don't need magic to crush you."

#Abilities:

Stats: Health: 510 – 1955 Attack damage: 62 – 122 Health regen: 5 – 14 Attack speed: 0.635 (+ 0 – 32.3%) Mana: 410 – 1498 Armor: 21 – 86 Mana regen: 9 – 17 Magic resist.: 30 Range: 525 Movement speed: 340

P: Archer unit

Every 8 seconds, Jadgar's next basic attack's range is doubled (1050) and marks the spot where targeted unit stood in the moment it was attacked. The marked area becomes centre of a skillshot which Jadgar can aim by moving (it will rotate around the centre). After 0.3 seconds hail of arrows alights in the direction of the skillshot, dealing 19-199 (+0.8 AP) magic damage and slowing all enemies hit by 30% for 2 seconds. Range: 600

Q: Flagbearer

Jadgar sends a flagbearer on a horse in a direction (vector cast), dealing 60/75/90/105/120 (+0.5 AP) magic damage to all targets, knocking them back slightly and stunning them for 0.5 seconds. Additionally, the flagbearer leaves path behind him that grants 20% increased movement speed to allies running in the direction he ran and stays there for 3 seconds. Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 mana Cooldown: 12 Range: 920/465

W: Smoke bomb

Jadgar places a smoke bomb that goes invisible 1 second after. The bomb explodes upon contact with enemy or if Jadgar auto attacks it, creating an area covered with smoke that grants nearsight, grounds and deals 20/40/60/80/100 (+0.1) magic damage per second to all enemies standing in it. Lasts 3 seconds. Cost: 80 mana Cooldown: 19/18/17/16/15 per charge (max. 3) Range: 500/390

E: Set the barricades!

Jadgar orders to set a Camp with a wall on one side (vector cast) that lasts 5 seconds. All allied champions standing in the Camp gain 12% movement speed bonus and regenerate 2/3/3/4/5% of their maximum health every second. Cost: 70 mana Cooldown: 25/23/21/19/17 per charge (max. 2) Range: 700/520

R: The Scout

Upon leveling up this ability, the Scout spawns in the ally base. The Scout is untargetable and invulnarable and grants vision to ally team. Jadgar can move him around the map by sending him pigeons.

  • Enemy dying in the Scout's vision grants Jadgar an assist.
  • Enemy being executed in the Scout's vision grants Jadgar a kill.
  • Enemies can see the Scout AND his vision radius (so they can dodge it when the Scout is walking or standing nearby). Cost: None Cooldown: 20/13/6 seconds Range: Global/1000

#Commentary:

Jadgar synergizes the best with immobile and artillery champions because the nature of his kit works the best if ally champions don't move all around and thus do not waste their power budget, on the other hand mobile champions would lose some. Simultaneously is good against mobile champions because of his grounding ability and granting good disengage tools to his allies with his Q and E. He's very powerful against ganks and around objectives with his ultimate.

I hope you like Jadgar, see ya!

Edit: Fixed informations in W, it seems I left something out.

First off I'd like to say that I'm truly impressed by the amount of time and effort that went into the design of this champion. I absolutely love the idea of this dominatrix support; a good opposite to the new lovebirds (get it) of bot lane that is Xayah and Rakan.

I understand that this is a very very rough draft of a champion. Riot, I think, likes the idea of new and innovative champion designs. Although some ideas might not fit with their pace of gameplay. I critic it justly.

Starting with the passive my first impressions are "What?", "but cant they just", "Oh", "Wow thats a crazy scaling". I think first impressions that Riot and its community you want are "Hmm", "Ok", "I guess so", "Ok next ability". You shouldn't all the wow in just your first ability let alone just the passive. A more in-depth analysis from a non-sacrcastic point of view is that the passive is a little over complicated and seems closer to a regular ability than a passive. Think more along the lines of minuscule but influential nonetheless. From the basic aspects, it seems a little overpowered in lane dominance when you can hit an enemy from a mile away procing a huge AOE that deals massive amounts of damage (should tone down the 0.8 AP scaling). This cuppled with the fact that this champion would most likely run item 3303 means free damage and money at no expense every 8 seconds. Now this could be seperated into its own ability, but might seem to similiar to things like Soraka's Q or Brand's/Lux's AOE poke.

Now onto the first ability. For balancing issues, never mix vector aiming with stun abilities, thats just asking for trouble. Also, this ability seems quite similar to Galio's old wind path ability. Now this isn't a bad thing. I couldn't think of anything to do to fix this ability. The scaling is quite fair for a support.

Talking about similar abilities, the W is the same thing as Jhin's E, but with a few extra gimmicks and better applied damage. Built-in wards for supports are pretty damn good and is a mechanic that Riot doesn't like to see (hence the abundance of Sightstone items now). This will most likely be cut for an ability better fitting of this Modern Major General (Look for my suggestions below).

Im losing steam here so bear with me.

His E is, well, situational is the word I would use. A wall that grants movement speed and healing. Now I'm assuming the wall is closer to an Anivia ice wall. This creates enormous team fight potential with very little in lane use (other than healing factor). I also don't feel as though it works with the character of this dreadful general who commands the battlefield that is the lane, but that's just what I feel.

I don't have much to say about the ultimate other than Rito would never allow such a thing. Micro managing a global, industructable, untargetable ward that grants kills for rookie mistakes and assists for being an observer is a gimmick that wont go over well.

I love the idea of this general character and it has tried to been worked into the game before. We can see such aspects in the characters of Jarvan IV and Azir acting as powerful lane dominating leaders. But the way this general has been implemented makes him seem more like a mismatched work of mixing a lot of different ideas together into a non-fluid blob of weird gimmicks. I imagine him to be a bigger driving force to fights than adcs. Maybe some ability that affects the minions temporarily (although this doesn't work out of lane, maybe jungle camps) or to boost allies. I think he could work without a healing factor ability, perhaps a booster of some kind like Nunu's W. Commanding an army and commanding a battlefield are two different styles that could be implemented into this character.

One way I thought about this was a spectral army, serving even after death to their influential general. Rather than summoning like Yorick, his abilities would coincide with the army. An ability could briefly have a line of archers show up to fire a volley of arrows, then disappear.

I was really running low on ideas here. I might come back later. I'm sorry if I did not give feedback in some spots well enough. I wish you luck in your champion development.

TL:DR - Its gimmicky as fuck and feels scraped together. Doesn't feel fluid with his character.

This champion seems he'd actually be quite interesting to play, as the trash support main I am, I would really like to see him in the game! Also, I love the little pearl earrings you gave him, for some reason that makes me happy haha, also how you zoomed in on his face. Lastly I love the ult idea and how this champion feels really unique and humorous, sorry if he wasn't meant to be funny but I quite enjoy that he is.

I love this idea its not a edgelord or a lone samurai shit . But i have one complain and that's the scout, it's very op because it just makes impossible to gank bot. you should make it targetable or it has a duration.

my opinion is the e should not have a charge system as i can see this being very obnoxious in turtleing. otherwise i like how he leads his allies.
