It's such a nice skin and the purple balls don't look good with her at all. I'm assuming they might still be purple because red is used as an indicator for an enemy Syndra's balls, in which case I think you could just make the particles white and red or something instead.

It might look better if instead of changing the balls, they changed the outfit so it matched better with the purple. I agree it does clash a bit.

I wanted to jump in and talk about Syndra a bit. Yes, as people have mentioned in this thread we want to create various tiers of skins for each champion. Syndra currently only has 975 skins so we wanted to create a skin for her that didn't require any particle changes. The addition of the purple panels in her outfit are there to match the skin to her base particles. If you guys still feel like the particles are clashing we can look into adjusting the outfit.
As of now we have no plans to add any new particles to Queen of Diamonds Syndra.
If the orbs were made into something like octahedrons they'd look much better imo.
Honestly how they are now is FINE, but octahedron "orbs" would be much more thematic for the skin and would look way cooler. :)

The problem is this skin has so much potential to be awesome! So far (in my opinion) its only her orbs that are letting it down. Even if they made them Diamond balls or added cards into the balls vfx that had a large diamond symbol on them I think it would satisfy most of us.
White and red would look nice.
I'm in favor of making it 975.
I would also like to see a price and quality increase on this skin, it could be really nice.

They should make 750 rp skins ONLY if the particles and skin don't clash too much. Marauder Ashe as a warning example, I didn't buy it just because of the particles. Well, they did it again. I seriously wouldn't mind paying 225 rp more just so this skin gets what it deserves. Rito pls.
There is already enough 750 rp skins this patch anyway...
It sucks so much but they virtually always say no.
Look at the new Singed Skin & Marauder Ashe.
They refuse to up pricing tier or recolor particles after the fact.
They don't give af about our wants when it comes to pre-shipment 19x/20.
Then you see they actually took feedback for Debonair Galio but hardly touched him after the fact & actually made him worse in a way (the purple looks awful)... critique was still overwhelmingly negative despite what KateyKhaos said & they refused to work on it further because of things like "pipeline" and "the artists are satisfied."
What else is stupid is how many skins Ezreal has now on so many other champions & how only one of his skins has altered particles (PFE) yet he has some of the greatest potential for particle touches with his beams.
Also, how they've refused to give Bandit Sivir her 5th prong on her blade back & won't give refunds for disliking it now. That's literally the only reason I owned the skin but they don't give af again.
Lastly, how they've essentially described recoloring particles as "intensive" because they're working with multiple layers of particles in Photoshop (really now, how many extra layers can there be, and it's not like it's very difficult to work those sliders til you find a shade you like). It's complete bs.
I have to agree. I was overjoyed when I read about a new Syndra skin, but the purple balls let me down. The model itself looks pretty good, I like it, but the balls need something extra. I'd totally pay 975 RP if it had some fitting effects.
Riot, PLEASE rethink your "skin tier pricing" system, it's so bogus right now.
There have been many threads that detail on how changing the color of a particle is less than a 10 minute job.
The fact that you can't do a simple particle recolor without adjusting the price of a skin is absolutely ridiculous, there is no way around it.

Balls should be diamonds, and syndra should be taric

Honestly, I think this skin has a lot of potential. But there are three things I think that must be changed: First, they removed her hair. I can imagine this skin with black hair or even keeping the white hair at least... but not removing it.
Second, I find the crown not very adapted, even for what it is supposed to represent. I think Syndra has to look gracious but also needs a side of "witch" with a crown that should represent power and magic.
And finally,** the orbs**. I know it is a 750 rp skin, but the purple orbs do not match with her outfit. Simply turn the purple to red or a kind of white. I am sure it would be much better.
Syndra is my favourite champion and I would be disapointed if they released a skin I find not finished. But good job anyway for everything Riot does.
Once upon a time, Riot released Haunting Nocturne for 520 RP. It was a very underwhelming skin since it only put him in a ghost hood. The community petitioned for change. Riot listened and added NEW PARTICLES within the week for his dusk trail.
That was 3 years ago. They didn't even bump up the price when they did it either.
I'm not disagreeing that the new Syndra skin would look better with red particles, it would probably look really cool.
But it probably won't happen and here's why. Enemies see red particle's in general, such as Veigar stun, Syndra Q, etc to let them know they belong to your team. Now I want to imagine you playing Queen of Heart's Syndra with red particles (mainly the spheres) against a normal Syndra. Now it's difficult to tell who's balls are who's and clarity becomes an issue. If there are 3 balls out and they're all my Syndra's, I have no problems diving in. If they belong to the enemy Syndra, I might want to think again.
Of course a way around that issue would by replacing the spheres with diamonds. You're team could have white diamonds, while the enemy gets red ones. It could potentially look really good if they replaced the purple in Syndra's outfit with white/a lighter shade of purple. (Credit for this idea goes to someone else on the forum).
