Can we stop this Abyssal Scepter rework in its tracks? We don't need another cancerous tank item.

I don't see how it's unhealthy as it is right now. It's fine. It does exactly as it's intended and is worth picking up for AP mids who want a little bit of beef against an AP heavy team.

It's pretty obvious that as soon as its released tanks are just gonna start picking it up and we have more ridiculous AOE damage. Let tanks do their job: tank. I'm fine with this tank meta and its nice to see them finally have their day, but this is gonna push it a little far.

Personally I think they should keep Abyssal Scepter the way it is and turn the "new" Abyssal Scepter into an entirely new item.

no new abyssal is not cancer, it's just a sunfire for magic resist but it give free 30% aoe magic resistance debuff, so your ap mage like cassio, or swain can deal more damage. and it's a good item for amumu or tank that deal magical damage.

it's also very good on mundo, gragas, or even garen, because it help very very strongly your ap mage to deal more damage. i think mage like annie katarina or vladimir need a slight buff and it would be perfect for them.

and cinderhulk at release had a 5700gold efficiency for only 2200 gold and it was not extremly cancerous. So i dont see why a 5200gold item efficiency that cost 2500 gold would be cancer sorry.

spell deal few damage so we need to deal true damage to target. I am very bored of people that stack mr, i want to penalize them so they build a noobtrap statistic.
