Abilities

His kit is based around combining two instances of damage. Tillion will always do physical damage and his dragon pet Yurac always deal magic damage. Respectively Tillion's abilities scale with AD while Yurac's abilities will scale with AP.

Permanent Pet: Yurac, the pale Dragon

|Stats|--------------------|Base Value|-----|Value per Level|---------|Value at level 18|-------|Scaling| |- |Health| |250| |+50| |1150| |+10% Bonus Health| |Health regeneration| |10| |+1| |28| || |Attack damage| |20| |+2| |56| |+25% AP| |Attack speed| |0.665| |+3.25%| |1.032| |Always the same as Tillion| |Armor| |40| |+2| |76| |+50% Bonus Armor| |Magic Resistance| |50| |+0| |50| |+50% Bonus Magic Resistance| |Range| |125| |Melee| |Movement Speed| |425|

Notes:

  • Hitbox: 125
  • Collision: none

Innate: Soulbound

Innate: Bond of Magic: Whenever Tillion deals damage to an enemy, Yurac's ability damage is increased by 25% for 3 seconds towards that target. Whenever Yurac deals damage to an enemy, Tillion's ability damage is increased by 25% for 3 seconds towards that target.

Innate: Bond of Combat: Whenever Tillion damages an enemy with an auto-attack while Yurac is close enough, he attacks the target for X magic damage.

Innate: Bond of Protection: Whenever Yurac dies, he shields Tillion for 120-460 (100+20*level) (+20% AP) damage over 5 seconds. When Yurac is close enough to Tillion, Yurac's Health Regeneration is greatly increased.

  • Bond of Combat: Yurac is not able to attack alone.
  • Bond of Protection: Yurac respawns after 16/14/12/10/8/6 (Level 1/4/7/10/13/16) seconds when Tillion leaves combat. Indicated by a cooldown on the innate.
  • Bond of Protection: Yurac's health regeneration is multiplied by 3 when near Tillion.

Q: Charging Javelin

(Active): Tillion throws a spear in target direction, damaging the first enemy it hits for 55/80/105/130/155 (+45% BAD) physical damage and slowing it by 40/45/50/55/60% for 1 second. When the spear successfully damaged a target, Yurac will charge in the direction of the damaged enemy dealing 20/30/40/50/60 (+20% AP) magic damage to all enemies he passes through.

  • Costs: 70/75/80/85/90 Mana

  • Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds

  • Range: 725

  • Projectile Speed: 2250

  • Projectile Width: 75

  • Yurac Charge Speed: 1000

  • Yurac Width: 125 (same as hitbox)

  • Maximum single target damage (including innate and being the first damage source): 80/117.5/155/192.5/230 (+45% BAD +25% AP) mixed damage

  • Yurac will charge from his current position

  • Yurac is immune to crowd control during the charge and will cleanse all CC at the beginning of the charge.

  • Yurac will always charge 150 units further than the target actually was.

  • The target of the Yurac's charge is the center of the units that was damaged by the spear.

  • Thus Yurac will not follow any movements, blinks or otherwise.

W: Piercing Divebomb

(Active): Tillion mounts on Yurac, gaining 60% Movement Speed over the course of 3 seconds for 6 seconds. When Tillion attacks an enemy while mounted, he and Yurac will both attack the target for 50/75/100/125/150 (+100% TAD) physical and 25/50/75/100/150 (+Yuracs AD Value)(+15% AP) magic damage and Tillion dismounts. Additionally the target will be stunned briefly and the armor will be reduced by 25% for 4 seconds. This ability is unavailable while Yurac is dead.

  • Costs: 60 Mana

  • Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds

  • For the sake of the innate Bond of Magic, Tillion deals his damage first.

  • Maximum single target damage (including innate and being the first damage source): 106.25/162.5/218.75/275/331.25 (+100% TAD +46.25% AP +2.5/level) mixed damage

  • The mini-stun lasts 0.3 seconds.

  • Tillion and Yurac will land behind the target

  • This ability is an auto-attack enhancer and thus trigger on-hit effects (once).

E: Flaming Wheel

(Active): Yurac breaths a cone-shaped flame in target direction damaging all enemies for 60/85/110/135/160 (+65% AP) magic damage. Simultaniously Tillion spins, damaging all enemies around him for 30/50/70/90/110 (+30% BAD) physical damage. When Tillion and Yurac damage the same enemies they gain 18/21/24/27/30% movement speed for 1 seconds plus 1 second for each enemy champion and 0.2 seconds for each minion/monster they damaged. This ability can be used while moving

  • Costs: 45/50/55/60/65 Mana

  • Cooldown: 11/10/9/8/7 seconds

  • Cone Arc: 110°

  • Cone Range: 400

  • Spin Radius: 250

  • As the tooltip implies, Yurac deals his damage first.

  • The duration calculation adds up all damaged enemies once. Regardless if they were damaged by the cone or the spin.

R: Helix Strikes

(Active): Tillion and Yurac both charge in a wave formation in target direction, damaging enemies for 50/75/100 (+25% BAD) physical and 50/75/100 (+40% AP) magical damage. This ability will cleanse all snare, slow and knock-up effects upon cast. When this ability damaged at least one target, it can be used again for free within 5 seconds. This effect can occur 2 times.

  • Costs: 100 Mana

  • Cooldown: 120/90/60 seconds (starts after first cast)

  • Maximum Range: 1000

  • Minimum Range: 500

  • Collision Box: 150

  • Wave Lenght: Actual Range / 2

  • Amplitude: 250

  • Wave Height: 500

  • Dash duration: 0.5-0.75 seconds (depending on range)

  • Maximum damage against a single target (with both Bond of Magic debuffs present): 375/562.5/750 (+93.75% BAD)(+150% AP) mixed damage

  • As the name implies, Tillion and Yurac attack is formed like two Helix/Sinus waves.

  • In a diagramm Tillion would have a positive value and Yurac a negative value.

  • This means that they can damage a target with both instances within one cast.

  • Yurac will teleport near Tillion at the beginning of the cast.

  • Similar to dash-like abilities, the final position will be slightly adjusted if the target point is within a wall.

  • Helix Strikes can be used to surpass terrain.

Patch Notes: 06.11.2014

  • Soulbound Yurac now respawns after 16/14/12/10/8/6 (Level 1/4/7/10/13/16) seconds instead of 10 seconds at all levels.
  • Added a note that Piercing Divebomb is unavailable while Yurac is dead.

Ok, I'm sensing some Eragon in this. This is how I would make the story...

Deep in Ionia, far beyond the Great Falls where our forefathers first founded our homeland, a great and powerful magic enveloped the place. Many wondered until at last, it was shown that dragons came nearby to hunt and drink before leaving to their home in the mountains. But the dragons soon had to leave due to the drastic changes from the Ice Queen. I traveled to mountains as a means to ease myself. I had to find peace of mind since my home was destroyed. Still only a child of 6 I continued onward. Days went by and slowly I grew hungrier and distraught. I happened upon a cave and rested until I could move once again. I explored the gave when I woke and found a large egg. The biggest egg I may had ever seen. Attempting to eat it, I brought it back to my poorly made camp. With a fire started and the egg off in a corner, I didn't notice I had fallen asleep. When I awoke, the egg had hatched and a large lizard with wings sat in a corner watching me. Afraid of what to do, I attempted to leave the dragon and continue on in the cave to explore. The little creature eagerly followed me. I broke off into a run in an attempt to lose it and stumbled down a small chasm that dropped me into the Serpentine River. When I got out of the river, I felt weird. I no longer felt cold. My fingers looked as if they were charred and sharpened as well as my toes. I found the little white creature again and this time I wasn't afraid. It was then that Yurac and I became one.

I also want to add that the spear thing seems awfully similar to Nidalee. Also, if Tillion's pet/partner Yurac is able to stay on the fields of justice, then those stats may need to be nerfed. Hard.

This champ is really cool, good use of flavor, varied Kit that has some basic synergy. I would remove Bonds of Magic though because the damage with a sheen with just one W is RIDICULOUS. I like that when Yurac dies, he loses his mixed Physical/Magic Damage but as an enemy i'm gonna feel kind of helpless when Yurac just responds after 10 seconds and he's back to being a mixed damage burster. I guess i'm just confused by what his weaknesses are, other than killing Yurac (which doesn't really have a big payoff).

I like, complex but not over the top as the ratios are good.

Great idea. Would definitely main.

Checking in with the contestants. Right now I'll say that your entry does satisfy the requirement, but I will say that I would really like to see more survival/ferocity aspects. It's sort of my fault for being too vague with this requirement and the one for Icathia, and it's kind of biting me in the ass now, but I was more intending feral/animalistic/primal or someone who has learned how to survive those things. The lore for this concept might support that, but it WAS supposed to be a kit challenge not an additional lore challenge. Like I said, you won't be DQ'd because it's partly my fault, but I would really like to see more of that survival/ferocious instinct come through directly in the kit.

What happens when the dragon dies? Do you control the dragon directly? If so are you expected to micro manage both units or is there AI? How would they interact if there was AI?

General comments I'm making to all contestants, so don't take this as critique. These are things that you may already have considered, but if not you should keep in mind: Make sure the kit flows well together. Would it be fun to play the champion? Do all spells make sense for your character to have based on the theme? Do all spells/skills make sense for your character to have based on his/her role? Does your champion have both weaknesses and strengths? Make sure your spells are balanced when considered individually and within the whole concept.
