Nostalgia mixed with me having a "psycho concept creator" moment does not typically result in anything pretty. But let's see how this goes. I apologize in advance for the really long passive. Feel free to make suggestions for number adjustments, ability reworks, or anything else you think needs fixing. My concepts usually aren't at all polished the moment I bring them out, so this abomination probably needs a lot of the first two at the very least.

Eskaldaer, the Parasite's Prophet

Role:

Mage, Tank

Stats:

Health: 560 (+90) Health Regen: 6 (+0.58) Attack Damage: 50 (+3.5) Attack Speed: 0.605 (+2.15%) Armor: 20.1 (+3.2) Mana: 370 (+55) Mana Regen: 6 (+0.7) Magic Resist: 28 (+0.75) Movement Speed: 310 Range: 570

Passive:

The Parasite's Plague At the beginning of the game, a large beetle-like creature called The Parasite crashes into a random grass patch on the map and begins poisoning the land around it, turning it dark grey, at a rate of 300 (+10% Parasite AP) (+30% Eskaldaer's AP if Eskaldaer is within 1000 units of The Parasite) units every 10 seconds.

Parasite Stats: Health: 200 (+100% Radius of Poisoned Land) (+80 per Parasite level) Health Regen: 0 (+1% Radius of Poisoned Land) (+0.5 per Parasite level) Attack Damage: 30 (+6 per Parasite level) Attack Speed: 0.7 (+1.4% per Parasite level) Armor: 25 (+4 per Parasite level) (+0.5% Radius of Poisoned Land) Mana: 0 Mana Regen: 0 Magic Resist: 30 (+2 per level) (+0.5% Radius of Poisoned Land) Movement Speed: 0 Range: 200 units from any tentacle

Poisoned land will develop large tentacles (minimum 500 unit distance between one another) that can attack enemy/neutral units and enemy structures within 500 units, dealing 100 (+40% Parasite AP) (+40% Parasite AD) (+5% Radius of Poisoned Land) magic damage per hit. Tentacles have 75 (+5% Parasite Health) (+10% Radius of Poisoned Land) Health, and respawn after 10 seconds. The Parasite's Armor and Magic resist apply to the tentacles. If a tentacle respawns and there is an enemy/neutral unit within 400 units of the tentacle, a second tentacle will appear within 400 units of the enemy/neutral unit and both will attack the target. After the target is killed or leaves the range, all extra tentacles summoned by this effect will disappear. Neither The Parasite nor the tentacles offer team vision, but will reveal enemies to Eskaldaer on the minimap if the tentacles attack them. Enemy units are slowed 5%(+0.5% per Parasite level) on poisoned land. Enemies may attack The Parasite. If this occurs, all Parasite tentacles on the map will teleport to the Parasite to attack the attackers.

If the Parasite dies, all tentacles will be destroyed, but the land remains poisoned for 10 seconds. After 60 seconds, the Parasite will respawn in a new location and begin poisoning the land from that point. The Parasite earns its own gold and has its own item set. Eskaldaer can purchase items for the Parasite using both his gold and the Parasite's gold (using the Parasite's gold first, then tapping into Eskaldaer's gold), but can only buy items for himself using his own gold. The Parasite earns gold both over time like other champions and from any enemy/neutral units either that it kills or that die on Poisoned Land. The Parasite also earns its own experience and levels up on its own. It has a level cap of 18 like other champions. The Parasite earns experience either when it kills enemy/neutral units or when enemy/neutral units die on Poisoned Land. It also earns experience at a rate of 1 minion wave for every 300 units added to the Poisoned Land radius. The Parasite and its tentacles will not draw the attention of enemy units unless the tentacles attack the units. Tentacles will, however, draw enemy turret fire. For ability/item effects, The Parasite can be treated as any type of unit (other than an allied unit to enemies or an enemy unit to allies). When multiple types of units could apply to the ability/item effect (such as Cho'Gath's Feast, which applies to all unit types but can only get Feast stacks from non-champions a set number of times), it is treated in the following order: Champion, Epic Monster, Large Monster, Neutral Monster, Minion.

**Q: **

Parasite's Punishment Mana Cost: 80 Cooldown: 10 seconds Eskaldaer opens a vertical 100-unit-tall glowing purple circular portal 300 units in front of himself (front being the direction Eskaldaer is facing at the time). A large black 250-unit-wide tentacle comes out of the circle, extending forward 500 units over 0.5 seconds. The tentacle then slams on the ground 5 times, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+45% Eskaldaer's AP) (+50% Parasite's AP if alive) magic damage to enemies under the tentacle per hit. The Parasite gains 50% of the exp and gold earned per kill made using this ability.

**W: **

Spreading the Toxic Gospel Mana Cost: 100 Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Eskaldaer's movement speed decreases 20/19/18/17/16% for 3/3.25/3.5/3.75/4 seconds. Land that Eskaldaer walks over becomes Poisoned. If this Poisoned Land is not connected to Poisoned Land created by the Parasite, it will disappear 1 second after all tentacles on it have been destroyed. If the land connects to Poisoned Land created by the Parasite, it will remain for as long as the rest of the Poisoned Land, and will increase the calculated Poisoned Land radius to the greatest distance that this extra Poisoned Land reaches away from the Parasite. However, it will not grow with the rest of the Parasite's Poisoned Land, which means that the radius will no longer be treated as "increasing" until the land Poisoned by the Parasite reaches the outer edge of the added Poisoned Land. If Eskaldaer is already standing on Poisoned Land, 5/10/15/20/25% of damage dealt by tentacles within 1000 units of Eskaldaer becomes True Damage for the duration of Spreading the Toxic Gospel.

**E: **

Protecting the Parasite Mana Cost: 70 Cooldown: 15 seconds Eskaldaer roots himself and begins teleporting to the location of The Parasite, successfully teleporting after 4/3.6/3.3/3/2.6 seconds. For 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds afterwards, tentacles within 1000 units of Eskaldaer have deal 20/23/26/30/33% increased damage and have their attack speed increased by 15/20/25/30/35%.

**R: **

Parasite's Guardian Mana Cost: 140 Cooldown: 200 seconds This ability can only be activated while Eskaldaer is standing on Poisoned Land or is within 1000 units of The Parasite, and the effect ends immediately if Eskaldaer stops standing on Poisoned Land and is not within 1000 units of The Parasite at any point during its duration. For 3/4/5 seconds, Eskaldaer deflects all incoming damaging abilities that pass within a 200/250/300-unit radius of him, taking 50/60/70% reduced damage. Deflected attacks and abilities will do one of the following based on their "type": Skillshots will take the same path when deflected that they did when coming in. Skillshots with set ranges (like Lux's Final Spark or Vel'Koz's Life Form Disintegration Ray) will have the remainder of their shot distance returned in the direction that it came from, rather than continuing past Eskaldaer. This may mean that it will not go all the way back to the original casting location, or it may mean that it will go beyond the original casting location. Whatever amount is returned in the direction of the caster will deal damage to Eskaldaer's enemies rather than his allies. AoE abilities will damage Eskaldaer only, and, if cast from more than 200 units away from Eskaldaer, will be immediately re-cast on the location that they were cast from, damaging Eskaldaer's enemies. Targeted abilities will have their effects dealt back to the user. If Eskaldaer is standing within 1000 units of The Parasite, the duration of this ability is increased by 1/1.5/2 seconds.

**Secret: **

If the entire map is successfully Poisoned, the entire map explodes, and all players except Eskaldaer are placed on the same team and receive an instant Defeat, while Eskaldaer becomes the sole victor of the game.

Lore:

Many planets throughout the galaxy have heard of the terrible beast known as The Parasite. Few have survived its arrival. It tears into the ground with its millions of tentacle-like mouths, and poisons the land while stripping it of nutrients. Ecosystems die off, the land crumbles into dust, and when there is nothing left to take, the planet is destroyed and The Parasite moves on to find its next meal. Many cultures throughout the galaxy praise it as a god, and send prophets travel with it to ensure its continued survival, spreading what they call the "Toxic Gospel" to whatever planets The Parasite lands on. Eskaldaer is the most senior of these prophets, his planet being one of the first to be devoured by The Parasite. Seeing life to be a disease, Eskaldaer vows to see to it that all inhabited worlds will one day succumb to The Parasite and its Toxic Gospel.

And their sights have now been set on Runeterra.

Edit: changed the ranges of the tentacles because I realized I was being an idiot about those ranges. Feel free to suggest to either reduce the ranges or increase them further, I just have a tendency to forget how big a "unit" is. Also made some adjustments to a couple other numbers.
