A tutor system?

As we all know, all MOBAs are basically brick walls of learning curves with oft-outdated tutorials (All 3 of the characters in the tutorial were already reworked for crying out loud).

What if we could add an option to mark oneself as a "Tutor", and thus be matched with a new player to ease them through the game?

For example, a new player could be asked if they want help learning the game, and thus automatically send a "Friend" request to a Tutor, who can then play with them and teach them how the game works.

I support this, although the "tutor" should have to be ranked Plat+

Yes, although the tutor should be level 30 instead of Platinum. Maybe they could even make it so you'd be matched with a tutor that has at least mastery 5 with the champ you want tutored with, proving they know how to play them well. Of course you could just have general tutors who just help them with the game in general.

tough decision because majority of the people who play games dont like to be told how to play a game. and this is one of riots mission statements that they preach. it would be quite a large system that breaks their philosophy... but i would like to see it!

Level 30 should be a high enough bar IMO. Rito does seem to be for players helping other players git gudder at the game, what with the honor system adding it specifically.

IMO, the goal should be to teach Newbs who just started the game, and to help them understand the basics of the game. Things that the ingame tutorial doesn't.
