After honor 5....

It seems to be once you're honor five, you can't get anymore "honorable." What if however Riot added a system where for every way you can progress in the honor system, they gave you points after honor 5. Something like 10 for a win 5 for a lose and 100 for an honor. So instead of it being "wow this guy is honor 5" its "holy shit this guy is honor five with 5500 honor points" They would display them in the loading screen and you can see them on your profile under your honor.

getting to five will be almost impossible anyway it's the equivilent of saying we need to be able to get past challenger rank 1

I don't think they'll do it because the system is ~~poorly designed~~ not designed based on an XP/point system to begin with. It'd be hard to go from this highly complicated system to judge whether or not you level, to making the system have a completely perfect score system that you can keep track of.

Also 1 penality and boom gone, all those points for nothing.
