@Morello/Skin Team, what happened to our Lux skin?

Since the old forums got closed down, and we can no longer bump our megathread, I'm going to try to reignite the discussion and dialogue with Riot.

It's coming up on two years since Morello said that Lux would get another skin in response to Steel Legion, and I'm still trying to figure out what's going on. Was there a concept that got scrapped? Did it get shelved while you were working on holiday skins? Did it even begin production at all?

Morello said that he wanted to get another skin out for her sooner than what is typical for a champ that just got a skin, but since then, several champions have received two skins in that timeframe, and it's just infuriating. There was a reason a bunch of us wanted Steel Legion scrapped and another skin expedited, because we knew that it would take forever for another opportunity for a good skin, despite Riot's intentions.

I and many others had been hoping for Lux to get this year's ultimate skin, because of the commitment that Riot had made to us, as well as the twitter hints, which had turned out to be fake. We've can only hope and stay positive for so long, and now with the potential leak that Sona is getting the skin, our hopes have pretty much been shattered, considering that the guy leaking stuff has been pretty much accurate for the most part.

I want to have faith in Riot, but ever since the Infinite Light incident, my faith regarding anything good for Lux has been shaky at best. I want to give you my money, but you give me nothing worth while to spend it on. And in the case that Sona does get the ultimate skin, I won't be buying it, because when the time comes to pick Sona back up again, Arcade and Silent Night are more than enough for me.
