Purchasing Skins Via IP

But...

surely something could be arranged where a hefty amount of IP could be used to purchase a skin..

I mean you could scale the IP cost for the RP cost

10-15k for a 950RP skin seems reasonable, and I don't think it's going to gut your business.

P.S. not being cheap I frequently buy RP.

I would be down if Riot took a bit of a Smite approach. In Smite, every character has a skin that's a basic recolor (examples from League would be Shadow Prince Malz, White Mage Veigar, etc.) that can be purchased with gems (RP) or favor (IP). It would be nice to have some kind of skins we could buy with IP, even as simple as recolors.
