Next Season Experiment

I am actually going to create a spreadsheet next season and document every game and annotate when I had an Afk, feeder, etc.

I'm very interested to see the results. I will of course post it here when I am done, but I think it could possibly bring the age old issue to light, or put it to bed when there is hard statistical data.

Besides AFKs and Feeders, what other discrepancies would you guys like to see?

This might be hard to implement, since it would be a bit subjective, but if you could document which games include off-meta picks i think that would be interesting.

You should add what time first blood was given up, and whether it was solo kill or caused by jungler help.

will do. I plan to also annotate feeding patterns...as in scumbag had x deaths by y minutes.

yeah, that might be a bit much. I honestly just wanted to keep track of it for my own sake. I hate how everyone claims that AFKs have a regression to the mean thing going on..as in you get as many on your team as the enemy does. I honestly can say that I feel its more of a 3:1 ratio. I plan on doing this spreadsheet so I can actually have something solid to look at.

Maybe which player decides to flame the most when something wrong happens? Like which role, which champ, and over what happened?
