Champion Concept ideas
So amongst the ideas I brainstormed.
- Anti-heal where a debuff will be set while marked: if the person reaches a certain threshold of healing while they are marked, it'll deal heavy CC and additional damage. (Though this is rather hard counter play and Riot doesn't really do this sort of thing.)
- "Pied Piper." Ability to convert minions/make minions attack opponent. Buff minions even. Able to use minions as some form of sustain. Maybe some sort of a Void monster that deals with the mind of the petty and convert them into little cultists. Maybe even have some minions following as pets and carrying them over to other lanes when prompted?
- Chimes like Bard? Maybe. I thought that maybe people can have more interactions with it. What about having some synergy? A spell leaves behind something or when an enemy dies nearby, they can pick it up after a short channel which will heal them/reduce their CC. Another spell, an AoE, that will do additional damage when cast on whatever's left behind.
- "Stationary/Mobile ADC." So I really liked the idea of old Xerath. Remember when he could root himself and gain some magic penetration? Well, what about a champion that can be highly mobile if she wishes to, thriving in fights and finishing off the enemy, while able to contribute in a teamfight far away if the situation is needed be? I thought of this idea having an ammo system. She has an ability that allows her to jump around, a bit like Caitlyn's E but it'll do damage and won't slow enemies hit. It can also be cast multiple times through stacking, a bit like Corki's ult or Vel'koz's W (maximum up to 3?). She is capable of rooting herself, giving her bonus armor penetration and gain increased range in her autoattacks, but she can only fire in a certain cone and cannot change directions of where she is firing. So if an enemy flanks her while she's rooted, she has to unroot herself to attack. The root also changes a bit of the effect of the leap. Since she's rooted, she won't be able to fly back. But due to that, projectile gets stronger, getting more ratio and doing splash damage, and if an enemy gets close enough of a range in front of her, it knocks them back.
