Fiddlesticks Rework Concepts: Fiddle C (Burningsticks)

Fiddlesticks is getting a rework next year, so you know what that means: Many people suggesting concepts for it! Me being one of them of course, I decided to conjure up some ideas and share them on these forums.

For this series of ideas, I'm going to list potential kits for Four (3 mine, 1 shoutout) Fiddlesticks concepts, with their separate game and client stats, based on this Fiddle concept art: https://s3.dexerto.com/articles/fiddlesticks_vgu_concepts.jpg

Also, I won't overdo it on trying to keep Fiddlesticks' in game playstyle the same, so please forgive.

Base Statistics: Health: 520 - 1846 (78 Gain/Level) Health Regen: 5.5 - 15.7 (0.6 Gain/Level) Mana: 505 - 1081 (28 Gain/Level) Mana Regen: 7 - 22.3 (0.9 Gain/Level) Range: 480 Attack Damage: 42.4 - 93 (2.625 Gain/Level) Attack Speed: 0.62 (2.11% Gain/Level) Armour: 30 - 89.5 (3.5 Gain/ Level Magic Resist: 28 - 36.5 (0.5 Gain/Level) Movement Speed: 330

Overall Difficulty: 2/3

Abilities:

Passive: Burning sensation: Auto attacking any enemy that is standing in brush converts 55% of said damage into magic damage (+5% for every 100 AP) Ashes to ashes: Hitting enemy Champions and Large/Epic monsters that are standing in brush with an ability reveals them and sets the brush on fire, dealing 20 - 190 (+30% AP) bonus magic damage once to all foes standing in said brush. Cooldown per brush after going out: 3 seconds. Hitting said enemy Champion or Large/Epic monster with another ability while they're still in the same brush does not re-apply the burn damage but extends the brush's burning duration by 1 second. The fire lingers for 4 seconds & cannot hit the same enemy twice unless they leave and re-enter after more than 1 second, in which case they take 40% reduced damage. Enemies staying in the brush refreshes their reveal duration. Auto attacking any enemy in burning brush deals the auto's damage to all enemies in there.

In exchange, Fiddlesticks cannot land Critical strikes.

Q: Lantern Fire

Cost: 70 Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5 Maximum range: 600 Flame damage: 90/120/150/180/210 (+50% AP) Expansion damage: 81/92/103/114/125 (70% AP) Expansion slow: 50%. Fire tick damage: 3/6/9/12/15/18 (+1% AP) per 0.33 seconds.

Fiddlesticks shakes his lantern and unleashes a small candle-like flame that hovers diagonally downwards & simultaneously grows in size. Once the flame touches the ground, (aka reaches target destination) it expands, dealing damage, slowing enemy Champions for 1s, and creating a medium sized circular fire that lingers there for 3.75 seconds, hurting all that walk though it.

W: Molten Claws Cost: 50/58/66/74/82 Cooldown: 11/10.5/10/9.5/9 Range: 195 Bonus damage: 30/55/80/105/130 (+35% AP) Root duration: 2 seconds.

Passive: Pain: Fiddlesticks gains 22/24/26/28/30 (+5% bonus) (+4% AP) movement speed for 2 seconds after he touches a burning brush Infinetly refreshing while he's in said brush (And it's still burning). Active: Fiddlesticks covers his claws in fire and molten iron, enhancing his next basic attack to become melee, dealing bonus damage and rooting the target.

E: Absorption/Hypnosis Cost: Absorption: 80/90/100/110/120 mana. Hypnosis: 65/75/85/100/120 HP. Cooldown: 19/17/15/13/11 (Starts upon Absorption heal, Hypnosis explosion or overall interruption.) Target range: 575

Absorption magic damage: 10/20/30/40/50 (+13.5% of the target's current health) (+40% AP). Absorption slow: 50 - 80% increasing over 1 second. Absorption heal: 120% of base damage, 60% of percentage health damage, 100% of scaling damage +(5/8/11/14/17 HP).

Hypnosis magic damage: 20/35/50/65/80 +22% of the target's maximum health over 6 seconds (Cannot kill them) Hypnosis finish damage: 40/52/64/76/88 +10% of the hypnotized target's AND caught victims' missing health in a 300 unit diameter.

Absorption: Fiddlesticks channels as he sucks out the smoke out of recently Hit-by-Fiddle-or-his-team enemy Champion or epic monster. At the end of said channel, a ball of, uhh, green? Is forced out of the victim, damaging and slowing them upon exit, quickly travelling to Fiddlesticks & healing him on contact. Cooldown per target: 6.5 seconds. Said target must be hit again to be targetable by this ability. This cannot trigger Ashes to ashes.

Hypnosis: Fiddlesticks briefly stops to target an enemy minion/Large (or lesser than large) Monster, creating a small flame in front of them. They are then forced to follow the flame and Fiddle's cursor, and attack for him with their power and 35 - 80% of Fiddle's AP, (Based on creature's Attack speed) while they're slowly taking damage. At the end of the duration, they explode into a small flame pillar. Only the flame pillar can trigger Ashes to ashes while in brush.

R: Maelstrom Cost: 100 Cooldown: 150/120/90 Explosion burst damage: 200/300/400 (+25% AP) magic damage. D.O.T. aura: 80/190/300 (+32% AP) magic damage per 1.1 seconds.

Fiddlesticks channels, putting out his lantern, becoming stealthed and ingoring Terrain collision for up to 4 seconds. Second cast/Run out of time: Fiddlesticks triggers a grand explosion & creates a fiery aura around himself, damaging foes, enhancing his abilities and burning bushes (Only upon contact with his main body.) for 5.5 seconds. Third cast/Run out of time (again): Fiddlesticks slowly shrinks his flaming aura, taking 1.5 seconds.

Enhanced Q: Lob a fireball in target direction. Damage: 100/150/215 (+60/65/70/75/80% AP, based on Q level) magic damage.

Enhanced W: +20% damage, _ silences_ in a cone for the root duration.

E: Absorption: Unavailable while in Maelstrom. Hypnosis: Hypnotized unit movement speed increased while in Ult aoe radius.

And that concludes my Fiddlesticks C Rework concept :D

I've read both of your posts and you have some interesting ideas. I can tell you're hyped as well :D

By the way, the rework may have an iteration of the "fake scarecrows" idea we've been seeing a lot on the boards. They seem to have implied that in the update post, and Squad5 himself confirmed that not only does he not have invisibility, but he still freezes while standing still (though this second one might've been a joke).

And that big ass hand he's got in the 4 latest concept arts just SCREAMS grab. Which is a bit lame.

I don't think fiddle and fire mix... I know he is a scarecrow and all that but I don't think it mixes. I don't picture fiddlesticks as a demon that sets things on fire (Annie's thing)... hypnotizes people (that's ahri's thing)... and involving a lantern (that is thresh's thing). He is supposed to be an evil spirit, like a wendigo, that stalks the area, as if he was a folklore evil spirit. Plus it is already known that they are keeping crowstorm. Also I like image D because everything about it looks so... wrong... it entirely fits fiddlesticks in my opinion, and he still keeps his scythe/sickle thing...
