[Champion Concept] Alto the High Flyer

Hey everyone I've been making champion concepts for quite some time now but I've never posted them on the official LoL forums before. Figured i might as well start of with a few of my older concepts and see what the people here think of them.

Anyways any feedback is appreciated so leave your thoughts below!

Image from Here Couldn't really find anything other then this image that was similar to this concept though it is fairly close. The main difference is that Alto' appearance and equipment are closer to modern day then futuristic.

Role: Jungle Secondary: Top

Base Stats Health: 549 + 85 per level Health Regen: 7.3 + 0.7 per level Mana: 303 + 44 per level Mana Regen: 6.755 + 0.45 per level Attack Damage: 55.6 + 3.1 per level Attack Speed: 0.625 + 3.1 per level Armor: 24.2 + 3.2 per level Magic Resist: 32.1 + 1.25 per level Movement Speed: 340 Range: 150

Passive- Bounty Board Complete contracts to earn gold and items

A bounty board is posted at the base. Alto can interact with the board to receive contracts (Max 3 at a time). After unlocking a new tier, Alto can upgrade 1 basic ability. At Tier 5 Alto can upgrade his ultimate.

Tier 2 upgrade Requirements -Level 3+ -Complete 2 contracts -50 gold

Tier 3 Upgrade Requirements -Tier 2 upgraded -Level 9+ -10 contracts completed -500 gold

Tier 4 Upgrade Requirements -Tier 3 upgraded -Level 13+ -18 contracts completed -1000 gold

Tier 5 Upgrade Requirements -Tier 4 upgraded -Level 16+ -3 Achievements unlocked

Contracts are randomized. The bounty board will show a maximum of 3 contracts at a time. Higher tier contracts can only be accepted after you unlock that tier.

Tier 1 Contracts- 25 gold each

Starter Quests (Guaranteed to show up at the beginning of the game. Can only be given once.) -Kill a large monster
-Kill 4 little monsters

Tier 1 Contracts- 25 gold each

-Kill or assist in killing an objective (Dragon, Tower Baron, Inhibitor) -Kill or assist in killing an enemy champion -Fully clear a monster camp in the opposing jungle

Tier 2- 100 gold each

-Kill or Assist in killing 2 enemy champions -Champion specific contracts: Kill X champion -Kill 5 large monsters -Clear a full camp in the opposing jungle -Kill 3 scuttle crabs -Slay the Dragon -Killed a champion after using smite on them -Steal a buff from the opposing Jungle

Tier 3 Contracts- 200 gold each

-Fully clear 5 camps in the opposing jungle -Fully clear 15 monster camps -Kill 30 monsters (Scuttle Crabs and Epic Monsters are included) -Kill 5 scuttle crabs -Champion Specific contracts -Slay the Dragon

Achievements

Double Digits Reached 10 kills or assists

Anybody know a chiropractor? Score a triple kill or higher

2Fast4U Hit a 5 man ultimate

King of the rift Slay Baron Nashor

Dragon-slayer Slay 5 dragons

Everyone gets a turn! Slay 1 of each of the enemy team at least once

Picking on the lil guy Killed the same champion 3 times in a row

This is my turf! Kill the large monster in every camp of the opposing jungle at least once

Upgrade: Alto gains a 10% movement speed boost per active drone.

Spawns a drone at a target location. Drones follow Alto but always remain at a fixed distance. Drones attack the closest target to them or whoever Alto is attacking if they are range.

Drones fire a shot every 0.25 seconds dealing 9/11/14/17/20 (+0.05 AD) physical damage per shot. Drones remain in combat until they are destroyed or run out of ammo. Drones regenerate 1 ammo per second whilst out of combat.

Ammo: 8/10/12/14/16 Mana Cost: 30 per charge Charge Refresh rate: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds Maximum charges: 3 Maximum Active Drones: 2 Max placement range: 200 Drone Attack Range: 400

Upgrade: Enemies stunned by Catch and Don't Release! take an additional 30/60/90/120/150 Magic Damage over 2 seconds

Alto throws out a line of wire between himself and the target ally or terrain for 4 seconds. When an enemy comes into contact with the wire, it becomes electrified dealing 65/90/115/140/165 (+0.4 AD) Physical Damage and stunning enemies hit for 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds.

Range; 800 Wire Max Length: 1000 Mana Cost: 60 at all ranks Cool-down: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds

Upgrade: Alto avoids unit collision and can travel over small walls whilst the rocket pack is active

Passive: If Alto and a drone are attacking the same target, Alto's basic attacks deal an additional 3/4/5% of the opponents missing health on-hit.

(Damage scales with level 1/7/13)

Active: Alto dashes a short distance activating his rocket pack for the next 5 seconds. The rockets pulse with every auto attack dealing 15/25/35/45/55 (+0.15 AD) Physical Damage in AoE around Alto.

Dash Range: 400 Pulse Radius:300 Mana Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 Cool-down: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds (cooldown begins at end of duration)

Upgrade: The shock wave now immediately knocks enemies within the ultimate towards Alto's location.

Alto breaks the sound barrier blinking to a target location. After a 0.5second delay, a shock wave is emitted from the starting point dealing 150/275/400 (+0.5 AD) physical damage and knocking all enemies hit to Alto's location at end of cast.

Range: 800 Mana Cost: 100 at all ranks Cool-down: 140/120/100 seconds

Looks super cool and seems like it won't be out of control. I have no idea regarding the numbers but I really like the possibilities that can happen with her w and e. Also is there a range on the wire? I can see Tahm having some fun if there isn't a bind radius.

Looks awesome, although maybe the bounties can be dialed down a bit, getting 3-8 towers worth of gold seems a little over the top

I love this concept, but feel that the ulti is a tad bit much like hecarim's ulti. It might be different enough (brings them in rather than away) to make it, but maybe it could be a bit more unique? Btw, love the name Alto. Is it related to the word Altitude by any chance?

This is cool! Always thought it would be cool to have a "ranged" champion with floating orbits... Like Elizabeth on the anime "Freezing"

He feels like a champion you have to shut down early game and probably be countered by Lee and Rek'Sai. He looks like a Kog'Maw jungle (in the growing factor) but definetely not one that is too op in the late game, but still a late game carry. His passive is like a mix of Syndra, Viktor and Kindred, which to be fair look kinda fun to play. His drones are like Malzahar's voidlings but ranged, let's just hope they don't become the same menace as in AD Malz. His W is fine but I think the stun should be changed to a root or snare. His E is ok kinda like an Ekko e but instead of a blink you get Rumble's W (if I am not mistaken). Now his R, with the added bonus this becomes overloaded and kinda feels like a stronger Malphite R. If Riot decides to keep something from this kit, it most likely won't be the R if the knock back doesn't exist. Overall I like it except the R. I'm pretty sure we all don't wanna see tank Ekko 2.0.

Edit: As a side note. The Q does look like something that might be added in Heimerdingers future rework if there is one.

If i may add some opinions Stun damage seems to high, Make it so the percentage missing health is on a delay, like nautilus snare Add the ability to make the drones take up a stationary position somewhere and act like an alarm sentry. Could do a whole new E ability by making the W be able to lanch Alto if he reactivates the skill, flying towards where it is latched and vaulting over small terrain.

Like the ulty, would make it a longer cast time though so it isn't just malph ulty 2.0..... Or make it so Alto can jump to a location, and those in the imediate vicinity of alto (Melee attack range) get pinned to the ground whilst all the rest are knocked back.

You should clarify whether the cooldown on E begins on activation, or when the buff runs out. Personally, I would suggest when the buff runs out, because with 40% CDR, the duration is just longer than the cooldown. If it began on activation, it would make it extremely difficult if you wanted to actually catch or kill Alto once he has the E upgrade.

NOPE this champion is unreal I don't think we need another over powered champ I don't understand why the w is in the kit and the e is just so overpowered think about balance.... unleas your a Yi or Kog Maw main idk what you were thinking once you have 45% CD you just jump around everywhere

So I didn't really read through his abilities but I did read about the contracts and I think that is an amazing Idea. The fact that Riot has those hidden little quests you can do if you play against a X champion while playing Y champion is nifty. But this, THIS is amazing and I would LOVE to play something like this in League maybe a little less complex but it would bring so much depth to a champion.
