Death Blossom Zyra - The Skin Everybody Has Been Waiting For

Zyra is a "Pain in the Grass" (pun intended). She's an amazing mage who can dish out lots of damage super fast - her opponent won't know what hit them. Many Zyra players love everything about her, except for something. A good skin.

On the other hand, many people would die for the Death Blossom Zyra skin (sometimes called lotus):

All in all, I highly encourage Riot to make a Death Blossom Zyra because it will be a huge hit and everyone would buy it (and more importantly Riot, you'll get tons of MONEY! lmao i had to say that im sorry XD.), and I know I would spend money to get that skin.

While the artwork looks damn gorgeous, I can't help but think that, aside from a few particles here and there, this would wind up being a quasi-recoloring of her default skin in the actual game. There would need to be a few more touch-ups, otherwise we're dealing with a 750 rp skin with a lot of unused potential. Of course if folk are willing to settle for that that's cool too, i guess >.>"

God damn, I main Zyra. And, I have been wanting a new skin for her forever. One that is elegant, yet maintaining her badassery. This, is, PERFECT.

Why are the two options so extreme?

why can't there be "I'm personally not interested in it."?

I would personally love a maruader zyra(clad in heavy armor,spawning metal contraptions) or void zyra...this one I'm not interested in,but it doesn't mean I'm against it existing in the game.

You people calling it just a recolor have no imagination whatsoever. The way DB Elise's particles are whimsical and whispy, almost ghostlike, along with the striking colors of the white mixed with icy blues and lilacs would look incredible when put together with Zyra's theme. The plants could look very striking and the particles themselves would look awesome. Her model itself would look a lot more flower-ful and would look more like an exotic flower than something from the jungle.

I disagree with your posted reviews about her current skins she has. Both Wildfire and Haunted give her a unique appearance, and the people griping about them are just hating them because they don't suit their tastes - there is absolutely nothing wrong with the fantasy presented in either skin. So disregarding her skins based on the opinions of like 2 people is kind of skewed.

That being said, I do want her to get new skins. However, I don't want Death Blossom, as it won't actually introduce anything new or fresh to Zyra, and it is a dull fantasy to apply to her - it basically just turns green/reddish plant woman into blue/purple/white plant woman. There's not really much deviance from her base skin to make Death Blossom actually unique for her. Actual skin designs that would be great for Zyra would be something like Arcade, where she has a question block/pirana plant thing going, or even Order of the Lotus, which could give Zyra a very Asian, Ionian feel, accompanied by the pink flowing clothes and the lotus blossoms everywhere.

Bump! This skin, alone, would encourage me to play Zyra. God dang that is such a gorgeous concept! The whole plant theme has her fitting with the "Death Blossom" title even more than Elise does, anyway. Imagine the image of her passive upon death. She blooms from the earth in a spectacle of soft blues and purples to shoot a sparkling, delicate projectile at an enemy to then wilt and crumble back into the ground.. That's not even one of her abilities... just her passive!

I agree completely with what has been written in this post. Haunted Zyra makes her look like a brawny gender bent version of a harrowing skin because of how the shoulders were done and its only saving grace is the plants which look creepy and awesome. Wildfire doesn't fit with anything to do with Zyra, her plants look silly - it is unhealthy for plants to be on fire - , and Zyra herself looks dumb too. The only Zyra skin I'd get would be SKT T1 and I personally think that it's silly that her plants aren't changed because I honestly see them as an extension of the champion. But in Death Blossom Zyra you could simply go off what's already been shown in the above splash ideas and Riot could make an amazing skin. Riot has been doing really well with skins and splash arts recently - honestly I think the above splash is perfect though - and I trust them completely to make this the perfect Zyra skin.

Well, it's certainly more interesting than Wildfire, but I think there are better options for a new Zyra skin. If anything, for me 'Death Blossom' is too close to Haunted (which people like, don't make it look like it's a wildy disliked skin to give reasons for a new one) in a darker themed way, I'd rather have more refreshing skins like Cherry Blossom, Sea Anemone or even Arcade. :P

This is more the direction I would like to see a new Zyra skin, but the coloring is still dark. Why always dark legs?! Needs something even lighter and fun.

I actually kind of like both of the skins.... but then again i more like skins for their splash art than their in game visuals, and the splash arts are just beautifully done.
