@Riot Question about Yorick Rework Delay

The link above shows that Ryze is the next rework, but I remember a little bit ago it was a yorick rework after the mage rework. As a yorick main this makes me a little sad ( Mostly cause I want that visual update XD), what made you guys decide to move him after ryze? My thoughts were maybe that he is obviously really hard to balance which makes him needed to rework ASAP, or maybe the new mage items made him over powered(Haven't played league much since update so idk if he is). Finally is there a possibility that you guys will delay him again for like a warwick update, I hope this isn't the case.

(Give me a legendary skin to buy with the yorick rework :P) <--- Don't let him be more unloved than amumu ;-;

Uh, the Ryze rework won't affect when Yorick is finished. They stated that two different teams are working on each, and the Ryze rework is smaller in scope, so it will be finished before.

nope just because one rework is "smaller" doesn't mean its gonna come out later, the link above is in order and ryze rework will come out first, when before yorick was next.

As already mentioned Ryze probably only gets minor changes whereas Yorick get's completly reworked (which takes a long time), but it will come out eventually.

They don't have to, As I said above he was right after the mage rework, but now ryze is. When ryze rework comes out that could of been the time a yorick rework could of came out, therefor a delay.

LIke I said before, two different teams are working on each of the reworks. Whether Ryze had been added to the schedule or not, would NOT have any affect on when Yorick comes out. They've stated this already, like several times I think. Ryze just happens to be a smaller one, so he's going to be finished before Yorick's. So no, Yorick's rework is not delayed.

Ummm...no.

Yorick was stated to be out at the end of the year. Ryze update has no effect on Yorick release.

Think of it like this:

Product A is being worked on and will take 4 months to finish. After 2 months Product B is being worked on by another group and will be finish in 1 month. 1 month later Product B is finish while Product A still has 1 month left.

Just let Yorick fall back into the hole he crawled out of. He's going the way of the dodo because nobody plays him, and nobody plays him because Riot won't fix him.

It's an endless loop. At least he has Mordekaiser to hangout with in the dumpster.

Yorick's update was never delayed since they started working on it last time (March 2015). Ryze is just a smaller update done by a different group of people/pod.
