What happened to 975 RP skins? What about the discount once 1350 RP skins are first released?

I remembered that a lot of nice and shine skins were released before and there were always discounts when 1350RP skins were first released. What happened to that tradition?

This was the conversation of me and a RIOT staff a year ago before headhunter akali was released.

I noticed that there is an early sale thing going on here instead of discount when it is first released. So does that mean RIOT wants people to buy it later instead of instantly buy the new skins? Early Sales replace skin launch sales. This was discussed in an article with the creation of early sales - this also allowed all skins they create to go on sale, rather than just select price points. That's the exchange for on launch sales.

Correct, when I'd made the comment, that was the case.
