Sanya lived in small village somewhere in freljord. It was about time when her father decided to pass his chieftain mantle to next generation. Even though Sanya was older, her father decided to make her younger sister chieftain, because he saw something in Sanya hearth. Something evil. When they told it to Sanya, she burst in frenzy and decided to take Village by force. She slaughtered her father and her sister together with their guard then she sits on the bloody throne as a new chieftain.

However she underestimate spirit of her people. They went riot and with their strength they exiled Sanya into frozen plain to freeze to death.

Sanya walked across the ice plains until she could no longer. With an unbearable anger and a desire to take revenge, she waited until she dies when one's voice was heard. The call that made her tremble with horror, but it dragged her to it. Sanya picked up all her last strength and went to origin of the voice. She went into a forgotten cave that ran far and deep. But eventually Sanya found what she called her. An ancient evil, the evil that is older than the world, the evil that was sealed in the armor and hidden all over the Runeterra.

Sanya agreed to become the wearer of this armor under the condition of destroying anyone who she want to. With new found power she wiped her former village and start her journey to find all armor pieces to release his new friend into the new world.

**Passive: Magic Hungry Gauntlet **

Sanya heals herself over 3 seconds for 40% of all mana spend.


Q | Shadow Rift Slash | Range: 750 units | Wide: 75 at start - 150 center - 75 end | Mana: 70/90/120/150/175 | CD: 10

Crypt lord makes a powerful vertical slash that deals 90/130/160/210/270 + 80% AD physical damage and leaves rift to shadow realm that slows all enemy by 15% of movement speed. Rift last for 3 seconds.


W | Crypt Smash | Range: 600 units | Radius: 180 units | Mana: 50/62/84/100/120 | CD: 14

Crypt lord smash his scythe in target location and deals 50/78/118/140/180 + 100% AD physical damage to all enemies. Hero can reactivate this ability to throw herself into initial location and release explosion of harrowing energy that deals 80/120/150/200/250 + 70% AP Magic damage in same area.

If Harrowing explosion hit Shadow Rift from Shadow Rift Slash all enemies standing on rift have reduced armor and magic resist by 5%/7%/10%/12%/15% for 5 second and rift disappear.


**E | Mana Siphon | Range: 1200 | CD: 28/24/21/18/14 **

Hero use her mana siphon scepter to steal some mana from her enemies. Hero can target enemy champion and steals 20% of her maximum mana over 4 seconds. Hero must remain within range for entire duration or siphon ends. If enemy champion remain siphoned for whole duration he receive 60/95/140/180/220 + half of mana stealed. magic damage and is stunned for 1.5 seconds.

This ability can target enemy champion that don’t have mana, however Sanya will restore only half amount of mana. Sanya can move, attack and use her other abilities during Mana Siphon. Mana siphon ends after 4 seconds of chaneling, target is out of range or Sanya is stunned.


R | Offering | Range: Self | CD: 180/140/110 | Mana: 15%/20%/25% of maximum mana

Passive: Hero gains bonus Attack damage equals to ~~1%/2%/3% of Hero maximum mana ~~.

Active: Hero fully submits her body to crypt lord to destroy her enemies for brief duration. Hero Starts levitating in area of Crypt lord shoulders and crypt lord is visible for whole duration. Crypt lord is making all Basic attacks.

Hero gains bonus 150 range and basic attacks cleave to enemies that are close to your target and 18%/35%/50% of all damage you take is taken from your Mana instead of health. Offering last for 4/5/6 + 1 second for each 1000 mana Sanya has


Creators Note Sanya is most of the times just sanya, her basic attack is punch with armored arm, ocassionaly with scepter and her E is casted from her Mana Scepter. Whenever she use her Q and W. Crypt lord appear as a ghostly figure above her that makes that ability. Her Ulti effectively transform her into crypt lord for brief duration.

Important question. Her Q and initial cast of W is done by Crypt lord, and could be separated from her basic attacks similiar as Shadow assasin kayn W. This would need to be tested.

Sanya is mana scaling bruiser. She would be stront AD top lane agains AD heavy enemy team since almost all no-AP mana items provide armor. With passive she will have nice sustain on lane and can be strong in late game with ultimate cast.

Sanya have unique way to force enemy back from lane with her Mana siphon. Can be strong against Mana dependent champions, but can be countered by pick without mana.

Standart build that I would build would be item 3042 item 3047 item 3025 item 3065 item 3110 item 3813

Making any ability that is countered by a pick is honestly not that great. Like if he picks first something like ryze top you basically won the lane (why would someone play ryze is a different story). And if they counterpick with something like garen or gnar you have one less basic ability to lane with.

So like a Darkin cross between Azir and Orianna. I can dig it except 2 things.

  1. It's too close to a Darkin, right now its just a mana Darkin. You either need to commit to being a Darkin or create a more unique theme. How many evil possessed items exist in this world?
  2. The crypt lord is honestly a pet, so you need to treat it as one. Look at the pets we do have and make sure that you adhere to the rules they follow. Lulu, Azir, Orianna, Zyra, Mordekaiser, Annie, and Yorick are probably the most classic pet champions. -The pets are mostly smaller than the champions (except Tibbers and Annie but because Annie is so small you don't have a huge combined size). -They're always visible when they are there and can cause damage (try fighting an Orianna, keeping track of her and her ball, now imagine that you can only see the ball WHEN it's causing damage), it's either got to be always visible like Orianna's ball or summoned like Azir's sand soldiers. -Their movement needs to be carefully considered. Are they like Lulu's Pix, who's basically part of Lulu's figure, are they like Azir's sand soldiers who disappear when he moves too far away, is it like Yoricks pets who have a basic form of AI that just sends them down the closest lane, is it like Tibbers who moves on his own but if moved too far away snaps back to Annie, are they controllable like Orianna's ball, are they stationary and time out like Zyra's plants.

Thinking about it, I'd connect her to the other Mana based champion, Ryze and give her a world rune instead of possessed armor. She could maybe have gotten a hold of a world rune just like the armor. The flavor would change and it would eliminate the pet issues, she'd carry a world rune as a spectral weapon instead. The world rune would create the rifts and instead of the Crypt lord ult, you'd go all glowy and covered in runes like Ryze.

I think the mana siphon should exact health from non-mana champions but still give you mana back from using it. And then have a MUCH smaller range. 1,200 is HUGE, Fiddle has 650 tether range on his drain... 1,200 is like Caitlyn Q range. Something closer to 700-800 would be fine. Otherwise it is like LeBlanc tether... impossible to escape... And it costs nothing, so it is easy to bait out a flash or escape ability with it since it stuns after. And you'll be spamming abilities for your passive heal, so getting mana back for that should be a little more risky.

Another point, her passive should probably be... changed up? rank 1 abilities would only heal for like 18 health over 3 seconds, at least 30% would fit better for 36 health over 3 seconds, and scale it up to... 100%? That's only 295 from Q+W and 25% mana heal from R at max ranks.

I'm not very good with statistics and scaling and it's not a very important aspect, but white hair is specyficaly characteristic for Ashe and her sisters. Have you considered changing it to black for example? Or maybe black with white frozen strings if you insist in keeping the frozen thematic. I really like the concept and lore tho, she seems really interesting and I would defienietly play her :)
