Why Fiora's new look isn't so good.

First things first. We all know that the upcoming Fiora update has come with a salty tide of controversy. Put bluntly, her new look is not as good as her old one. The "update" made her less attractive .

Okay, let's address the elephant in the room. Her hair. Even if the new style doesn't look that bad, everyone likes the old version better. These two reasons are why I think most people (myself included) dislike her new hair.

1. People are sentimentally attached to her old hair.
2. The new hair is way too perky and angular, counter the nature of, Oh I don't know, real hair. (Sorry)

Her face, too is a subject of controversy. Whether it be the angularity of the Default, Royal Guard, and Nightraven skins, or the jowly and wide eyed Headmistress skin. (Sorry again)

The main problem here is how the artist tried to make her look beautiful. Let's take the first skin for example. Her face is very bony and wet looking, as if she just put lotion or oil on her face. Sharp. stone-cut features are what make men attractive, not women. While I disagree with making women look weak in games, I still think that her features should be toned down to be less angular. Also, her face looks wet and it's kind of gross.

A good example of well-done beauty mixed with power in league is LeBlanc. Her face is just angular enough to imply strength, but round enough to be attractive. Also, in her splash, shadows are used to highlight her face, not gross shiny wetness. Even if Fiora's not a "bad guy", she can still have shadow cast on her face.

Look, Riot, if you're reading this, I'm not hating on you. If you feel that this is an affront that will get nothing done, I'll take it down. Hopefully this post has displayed the community's complaints in a more organized and calm way than most articles on this topic.

What I'm trying to get at here is that Fiora is way too stylized, reaching almost to Disney levels of unrealistic drawing. In my opinion, the League of Legends player base would be much happier if some of these suggestions were taken into consideration.
