Give Jhin a Skin

Jhin is a very frequently played champino and he hasn't gotten a skin since release. I genuinely want to know why the fk he didn't get a skin during lunar revel. that would be really easy to work in thematically and he would also have looked very good with the skin line that gp is starting. #givejhinaskin pls rito...

Jhin follows the same skin release schedule - at least a year must pass before he becomes eligible for a new skin. He got his skin on release - in like April. He won be eligible until that same time next year.

Jhin is currently the 7th most popular champion in Normals, and the 9th in ranked.

Compared to Ekko, Jhin doesn't have the same popularity history. From what I can find, Ekko dropped from >35% popularity in July 2015, which was already 2 months after his release. Shortly after that began the surge in bans and nerfs that hindered his popularity for the remainder of 2015 and early 2016. He reached or exceeded a 70% ban rate twice since his release.

Conversely, Jhin has had a more stable popularity spread, but it was nowhere near as high as Ekko reached in his early days, and he has never broken above 30%. Additionally, Jhin has not been severely banned or heavily nerfed since his release, which also contributes to his consistency. Again, he has never reached Ekko's popularity level, and he did not have Ekko's popularity on release - Ekko broke 30%, Jhin barely broke 15% and even dropped in the next month.

Ekko's Academy skin was released in the height of his popularity, just as it was on the decline towards fall of 2015. It was precedented by immense launch popularity, the likes of which Jhin did not and has not since breached. It is likely that Ekko is an exception to the rule due to his immense launch popularity, which has yet to replicated on any champion since.
