This is an entirely new champion that doesn't play even remotely the same as before because his damage, a core aspect of how people played him aggressively, was nerfed. So now you're basically supposed to play him all passive-like and scale into the game which is the opposite of old Aatrox.
Aatrox jungle is now supposed to leave Blood Price on for all of his clears until he's mostly done with the camp, because you start with 3 potions and want to make use of them. That's entirely foreign compared to how people played him, because you never even needed potions.
I got him to work with a weird rune page set up to make him tankier by 40 HP early and abandoned any kind of AD outside of two AD quints, with mostly attack speed. Completely functional against everything, but it's hard for him to just outright smash people like he used to, because again, his damage was nerfed. This kind of build is yet again, completely foreign to old Aatrox. If you weren't going all-or-nothing then you lost on old Aatrox. This one actually scales with tank items and can rely more on base values.
