Naleiah - The Fleeting Spirit - Champion Concept

Hey guys,

I decided to design a champion because I got a little bored and It ended up being really fun and quite a big project. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to make her a better concept I'd love the hear it. I hope you like the ideas and have a wonderful rest of your day!


Naleiah - The Fleeting Spirit Type - Marksman, Assassin
Roles: Mid, Attack Damage Carry

Basic Attack - Shoot Gun Passive: - Naleiah starts every game with Goggles in her trinket slot. She cannot replace them with other trinkets but can have other trinkets in an item slot.

Goggles Stats: +.25 AA speed, +25 movement speed

Active: Naleiah is granted True Sight for 3 seconds. True Sight gives Naleiah sight of all minion, monster, and champion souls in an area of 500 around Naleiah During this time The screen will turn red and vision is decreased to an area of 800 around Naleiah. Minions and small monster souls grant 1 permanent movement speed increase (max 50), large monsters grant .1 permanent attack speed (max 1), and Champions grant a 40% movement speed buff and slow the reaped champion by 20% for 3 seconds. You gain Souls by right clicking on the target, Gaining a Soul has a .5 second channel time and you can only gain one soul of each type once per use of Goggles. Each time Naleiah maxes an ability the duration of True Sight increases by 2 seconds and increases the range of soul vision by 200 and range of vision by 200 as well.

Q: Cast Trauma- 50 Energy - 14 second cool down - Range: 800/875/950 (Kick) 150/200/300 (Able to Use Range) Naleiah kicks FLCKR forward if in range, if it hits a monster or enemy minion or champion it deals 65/76/88/101/112 (70%), grants vision of the hit units for 3 seconds, slows them for 25/30/36/44/50%, and knocks them back a short distance. The unit does not need to be visible to hit and if it hits a stealthed enemy trap or ward Naleiah and her team gain vision of the unit for 5 seconds.

W: FLCKR - No Cost - 2 second cool down - Range 425 (max range 850) Control FLCKR as an auto attack. Each consecutive attack for 7 attacks gains +4 attack damage and the 7th attack gains an additional 6 attack damage as well as dealing the damage in an AoE. If the 7th attack kills a unit you gain 25 energy, and if 2 or more units are killed you gain 50 energy and a 30% movement speed buff for 2 seconds. FLCKR’s damage (70) doesn't increase with level or items, but has an additional 28% attack speed. FLCKR can proc on hit effects ( Frozen Mallet, Blade of the Ruined King, etc.)

E: Drag/ Pulse Whip - 100 Energy - 9 second cool down- Range: 400/450/500 (Drag) 450/500/600 (Pulse Whip) Naleiah pulls herself through Flicker and gains a 35/45/55/65/75% attack speed bonus for her next 3 attacks. If Naleiah pulls herself through an enemy champion she marks them. If the ability is reactivated within 3 seconds she whips Flicker into the ground in front of herself, dealing 70/100/140/190/225 (+30%) in an AoE and slows all marked enemy champions by 40%.

R: Spectral Rush - All Charges Of Rush - 35 second cool down - Range: 500-2500/3500/5000(Dash) 250/325/450 (Fear)

Passive: Naleiah can move through units. She gains 1 charge of Rush every time she walks through an enemy or allied champion. You cannot gain a charge of Rush from the same champion for 14 seconds. You can store up to 5/7/10 charges of Rush.

Active: Naleiah consumes all her charges of Rush and dashes a certain distance depending on the amount of stacks she has. At the end of the dash Naleiah explodes dealing 140/210/350 damage(AP or AD whichever is higher (70%)) and fearing all enemies for 1.4 seconds in an area. You can reactivate Spectral Rush to stop your dash .07 seconds after reactivation. Each charge of Rush is equal to a 500 unit dash. During the dash you can pass through any units or terrain but you cannot pass through the same terrain for 70/63/49 seconds. The dash is a straight line and your course cannot be changed during the dash.

Build Ideas: Ap: nashor's tooth, berserker’s greaves or sorcerer’s shoes, statikk shiv, Manamune, guinsoo's rageblade, zhonya's hourglass Ad: essence reaver, runaan’s hurricane, Infinity Edge, trinity force, berserker's greaves, Bloodthirster or Blade of the Ruined King

Gameplay: Naleiah would most likely be played as a roaming basic attack heavy ADC or Mid laner. Her ultimate is a very good initiator or escape tool. It allows Naleiah to roam, dash away, or set up a massive team fight very easily. Her main damage is from her w auto attacks and very sizable burst and cc from either her q and e depending on which was you build. The best way to to play Naleiah is an attack speed mage like Azir, or as an auto attack based Attack Damage Carry who mainly focuses on kiting, chasing, and dashing in and out of fights. She’s very fragile but she can cut down an enemy like warm butter with her insane attack speed.

FLCKR Auto Attack Description: It's basically Orianna's Command:Attack but as an auto attack. The auto attack originates from FLCKR rather than Naleiah. It has a max range of 850 which means you can use it twice at max range before it can't go any further away from Naleiah.

Hey! I'll give it my best shot just to ask and adress a few things:

  1. Does it mean she doesn't have a passive? or is her passive: Naleiah gain bonues from sould from Minions and small monster. The souls grant 1 permanent movement speed increase (max 50), large monsters grant .1 permanent attack speed (max 1), and Champions grant a 40% movement speed buff and slow the reaped champion by 20% for 3 seconds.

  2. Just realised she uses "Energy" and shes ranged? "shoot gun". With long cooldowns the enery would regenerate back up, does she really need 200 enermy? or is it like a lazer gun and use power as ammo?

  3. her Q having both Knock Back and slow is unnecessary, i suggest you pick on or the other as it can be abused to push enemies closer to allied lanes and then they cant escape cause they are also slowed. and what do you mean by "Naleiah kicks FLCKR forward if in range," ?

  4. Reading onward i see you have a description for "FLCKR", so she does have a basic attack, instead FLCKR attacks for her like, kinda if LULU couldn't attack and Pix was the one attacking? and it's attacks are projectiles than can go further than normal?

  5. Having "FLCKR" in most of your abilities i think you need to make clear what object is it, a ball? a robot? your title says "fleeting spirit" not sure what theme your going for when she can "shoot".

  6. now this is even more confusing. Your W has no cost, but FLCKR is the one attacking now? or do you have one basic attack and your W is another attack. which means your Q is kicking this object into an area like Oreana?

  7. I'm going to stop here, reading through i'm already having a hard time imagining the character and her abilities. You need to clarify her relationship with "FLCKR" and the rules she has with moving it etc From her kit to her Ult.

Sorry, it's a nice concept, I just feel like it's not describe properly for a complext character.
