Adalease, the End of Destiny
Man I haven't made on of these in forever. Lets try remaking that balance Angel thingy I made a while ago and mix some of her elements with the Void ADC i made......dafuq?
Appearance: Adalease is giving the viewer profile, reaching out to them with her free hand while holding her sword casually at her side in the other. Her eyes are devoid of feeling or emotion, but you swear that you can see hints or something---either deep compassion or great disdain. She sports two beautiful wings composed of black and white feathers, but each wing is bound by a shiny blue cord. She is clad in a mix of heavy golden armor and beautiful black robes flowing from under it. All about her, black and white feathers seem to be falling from the sky, some burning away into nothing while others sparkle radiantly.
[Passive] - Paragon of Balance Using abilities and items creates Balance, depending on their targets. Balance enhances Adalease's Abilities and gives her increases stats, based on which way the scale if tipped. Adalease only gains the benefit of one the greater end of the scale, unless the values are equal ((Or pretty darn close. I cant math THAT good...)) in which case she gains benefits from both sides of the scale.
[White] - Health and Mana Regeneration increased by [White Scale Value]. [Black] - Damage dealt and Received from Champions increased and decreased by [Black Scale Value].
The Balance Scale's maximum values are increased based on Adalease's level, starting at 10 with a maximum of 55 at level 18. {10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5, 25, 27.5, 30, 32.5, 35, 37.5, 40, 42.5, 45, 47.5, 50, 55} When Adalease uses an Ability that affects enemy Champion, the [Black] scale value is increased by 10%, and when Adalease uses an ability that affects allied champion, the [White] scale value is increased by 10%. If the opposite end of the scale has a value when Adalease uses an ability, 20% of its value will be siphoned to the other side of the scale. The White Scale value decreases by 10% each second if Adalease has not affected an allied champion for 5 seconds, and the Black scale Value decreases by 10% each second if Adalease has not affected an enemy champion for 5 seconds.
[Q] Destiny Lance Adalease fires a skill shot that damages or shields Champions hit.
Adalease fires a short range Skill shot that deals {10, 30, 50, 70, 90} [+Attack Damage] to all enemy champions hit and applies a {10, 30, 50, 70, 90} [+.6 Ability Power] Shield to allied champions hit for 2 seconds. --When Adalease's Balance scale is [White], if she hits an allied champion with Destiny Lance, she gains [White Scale Value%] of the shield amount for 2 seconds. --When Adalease's Balance Scale is [Black], if she hits an enemy champion, she gains {10, 12, 14, 16, 18}% Attack Speed for 5 seconds.
[W] - Appeal Adalease assails the target with visions of the future, applying a different effect based on the target.
[Allied Champion] - Increases the damage of the target's next basic attack or single target ability by {5, 8, 11, 14, 17}%. Can stack up to {1, 1, 2, 2, 3} Times. --When Adalease's Balance scale is [White], also heals the target for 5+[Scale Percentage X {.1, .2, .3, .4, .5} Ability Power}
[Enemy Champion] - Decreases the Damage of the target's next basic attack or single target ability by {5, 8, 11, 14, 17}%. Can Stack up to {1, 1, 2, 2, 3} Times. --When Adalease's Balance scale is [Black], also slows the target by 5+[Scale Percentage X {.1, .15, .2, .25, .3} for 2 seconds.
[E] - Atrophy Spark Adalease sheds one or more feathers. Feathers increase allied movement speed and damage enemies and decrease the speed of enemy skill shots that pass through them.
[Passive] Each time an Atrophy Spark is picked up or destroyed, Adalease's cooldowns are reduced by 1 second.
Adalease sheds {1, 1, 2, 2, 3} Feathers, tossing them in front of her. The feathers remain for 5 [+Total Scale Value] Seconds. Other Allied units that touch a feather pick it up and gain {2, 4, 6, 8, 10} movement speed for each feather they pick up, lasting for 3 seconds after they leave combat. Enemy units that touch the feathers destroy them and receive {2, 4, 6, 8, 10} True Damage. Enemy Skill shots that pass through the feathers destroy the feathers, but have their travel speed permanently reduced by 10%. --When Adalease's Balance Scale is [White], this abilities range is increased by [White Scale Value X 2] and Atrophy Sparks increase Allied unit's Health Regeneration by [White Scale]. (Doesn't Stack) --When Adalease's Balance Scale is [Black], this abilities range is increased by [Black Scale Value X 2] and Atrophy Sparks apply a stack for each feather destroyed. Enemy units that gain 5 stacks are stunned for 1 second, and cannot destroy feathers for 9 seconds.
[R] - Embrace Divinity Adalease lets her wings explode outward, creating an aura of feathers that hampers enemies and protects allies. White this ability is active, Adalease's [White] and [Black] Balance Scales are always Balanced.
Adalease's releases her wings in an explosive burst, dealing {100, 150, 200}(+ .4 Ability Power) Magic Damage to enemies around her. Afterwards, Adalease is enveloped in an aura of scattering feathers that hamper enemies and protect allies for {4, 5, 6} seconds. Enemies within the aura have their vision reduced by {25, 40, 55}%, and Allies takes {4, 7, 10}% less damage from Area affecting abilities.
During this time, Adalease's gains [Total Balance Scale Value] Movement Speed, and her Balance Scale is Always Balanced; all abilities increase both scale values and do not diminish the other and her next {1, 1, 2} Abilities will be cast with an enhanced effect. [Destiny Lance] Range becomes Infinite. [Appeal] Stack of Appeal remains until target is out of combat. [Atrophy Spark] Produces double the amount of Feathers.
Adalease started as something similar to Kayle. a squishy flying cutie that will smush your face off if you let her with some some support elements. This incarnation seems to have taken her somewhere between vengeful Top Laner and Sweetheart Support!
My major problem with Adalease is her balance Scale. its SORT OF her main point, but making it useful for each ability, and also tying it in so that its not a headache for the player is a rough thing to do. SOMEWHERE I need to make these abilities easy to understand, and still useful or not over powered. She's BALANCE Focused, so having both the Black and White side of the scale be useful is important. Filling the scale is also awkward. Should her CD's be Short? Should the scale simply fill A LOT and not diminish as fast?
What is her WIN CONDITION? As a support, she keeps her buddy Alive and reduces the enemy's damage--Pretty Simple. In a fight, how does she truly contribute? Her Black Scale adds bonus damage. Sweet. But if I built Support, I'm not gonna want to wade into the middle of a fight. If i got Top or Offensive with her, im Building AD cuz AP Adalease doesn't do Damage(This is intentional). Her inherant sustain is designed for a support role, and her offensive power is designed for a bruiser. where's the BALANCE?
