Galio's VFX Update and My Thoughts
(TLDR: For those who thinks reading is tedious as Rito nerfing a champion 10 times in a row, this is mainly just a thread for some slight changes in VFX for the Legendary skin, "Gatekeeper Galio".)
This thread is about the VFX of Galio and the Legendary skin, "Gatekeeper Galio". I'm not one to complain, to be honest, I am actually glad about these VFX updates to Galio and his Legendary skin. The VFX to his Classic skin is really nice. But.....the main problem with these changes is how the "Gatekeeper Galio" skin looks now. Now if you take a look at both Classic and Legendary skin of this champion, you will see it's...it's basically like a recolor of the Classic VFX. Actually, it "is" a recolor (Aside from the Ultimate ability).
I am very sadden of how a Legendary skin turned into a Chroma. I feel that the skin doesn't give me that feeling that I am the "Gatekeeper" Of the Underworld no more. If anything, I feel like I'm a champion that just got a makeover. Now take a look at the old Legendary skin VFX.
Though between the old and the new VFX of the Legendary skin doesn't seem to have much of a difference, you will notice some differences. Now I'm not suggesting that they redo the whole VFX for the Legendary skin. But I will ask if they can change some of his abilities back to the old VFX. It's not that I under-appreciate what they did for the champion and want to throw it out. I am just saying for a skin that is Legendary, it feels underwhelming when comparing it to the Classic skin of a champion.
Now the abilities that I wish would change back to the old VFX are the W and Ultimate Abilities. It's nothing hard that can be changed. But please consider all those who owns this skin and how much they really like it. I, for one, really like this skin to the point I am making a very long, tedious thread about how the new VFX of the Legendary skin needs to have some of its VFX changed and that this thread is mostly not even going to be even looked over because it seems very, very tedious to read. But if one of you did read and support this, I very much appreciate for your support. That is all.
