Champion Concept - Paum The Coconut Barage
Lore & Backstory: Don't feel like writing out the 247 page Diatribe this character spawned in my head so leaving it out! Appearance: Shirtless, less a "collar/ornate "chestlace"" made of tropical flowers and bones, Well defined very hairy chested on a very scrawny looking scrappy dude of indeterminable ethnicity(greenishblue hue to skin), forearms are adorned in palm tree paraphernalia resembling intimidating looking "blaster gauntlets" of ornate banana palm leaves and other eccentricities. Lower quarters adorned with a palm frond grass skirt, barefoot less some silly looking ankle rings with a single flower on the cusp of the left ring by the protruding ankle bone. Has an epic though short friendly mutton chops, that tangle into some below the ears tousled hair. Poses and attacks in a left handed fashion. Has coconut palm flower sitting on the ridge of left ear. Wild and Distant look in his eyes, one of which is a bit larger pupil than the other. Passive: Coconuts! - Paum cannot auto attack, has no scaling basic attack damage or scaling stats aside from health and mana and magic pen, after 5 seconds of being in combat against champions or epic monsters his abilities can critically strike champions and epic monsters for until he leaves combat with champions (the buff lasts 5 seconds base line and refreshes upon hitting a champion). He is a little crazy and can only purchase items that have ability power, critical strike, or mana on them! Q: Unleash the Coconuts! - CD: No cooldown|charge system 1/5/10/15/20/25 /30 coconuts - Mana Cost 20-5 mana per rank - Paum fires a linear pass through skill shot that stops upon hitting a champion(range 700 at maximum edge(will hit minions and monsters up to 650 units away with the champion colliding particle hitting at "700" ), size of the coconuts increases with ability power. Applies on hit and spell effects to the champions hit. (100% of spellvamp). Critical Strikes Recharge up to 5 coconuts. Deals magic damage. Base Damage is: 50/65/80/95/110/125/150 (+ 0.1/0.15/0.2/0.25/0.3/0.4/0.5 ability power +0.25/0.5/1/1.25/1.5/2/3% maximum mana) Grants 0/10/15/20/25/30/35% critical strike. W: Motion of the Ocean - no cost - passive effect - Paums movement is unchanged by movement effects and he ignores unit Collision. Gains bonus flat movement speed per rank based on % of maximum mana (0.5/1.5/2.5/3/4% maximum mana) E: Delicious Coconuts! - 100 mana all ranks +1 coconut per second - 30 second CD Spend 4 seconds eating some coconuts restoring X% mana (0.25/2.5/5/10/15) per second, and if the channel is uninterupted sprouts a coconut tree and completely refilling 5/10/15/25/30 Coconuts and restoring 5/10/15/20/25% of his missing health. R: Let Rain the Coconuts! 250 mana only 1 rank - 190 second cd Empowers Paum's Q and he will throw with great haste coconuts that deal 50% damage to all targets on impact with enemy champion +5%(+0.015% per 1 ability power +0.15% per 100 mana) of their maximum health as magic damage to the first target hit 50% value to targets hit by the area of effect. Duration 5 Seconds. Benefits 33% from spellvamp but fully on the first champion hit. This ability's cooldown is reduced by 5seconds for each critical hit during its duration up to 190 seconds shaved off. (graphically he is throwing multiple coconuts x5 and using equivalent ammo)
Intended Play style: Mana and ability based magic damage on hit champion with a "machine gun barrage" Q instead of auto attacks. Extremely huge power spike late game upon completing Seraphs Embrace and Manamune. Intended to be built with spell vamp items, runes, masteries, etc for marksman type sustain. Or pure mana per level for "hyper mobile glass cannon build" Might need adjustment for aram due to clarity being extremely powerful on him. You are highly limited by how "fast" you can push Q and gated hard by the ammo system unless you Built either Essence Reaver + IE and have been in combat a long time. His ult turns him into a "front line deleter" if built full glass cannon though is pretty gold intensive build compared to blue build and he will be less able to escape. He is a champion intended solely to scale with items and is 100% skill shot dependent (but has all the tools he needs to position in a fight or blow away minion waves if willing to waste ammo) so is deeply a late game champion. Made for all the "button mashing "fighting game/brawlers" out there (a legitimate strategy, and only way to play for some folk!). Your fingers will BLEED and be in danger of repetitive motion injury every match if you are near skill ceiling, which acts a hard gate. The game also lacks a champion that doesn't have auto attacks, and needs seem innovation + needs a champ that works off spell vamp. He is designed with 5-11 equally viable rune pages in mind, depending on exactly what you are looking to do in a particular match/map type(some rune pages are better on Aram/3s but all are equally viable on most Summoner's Rifts maps)
