Welcome, Summoners and Past Champion Concept Artists! DMC7500 here, with another champion concept! I decided to release the preview early so that I have time to work on the champion designs and abilities.

Firstly, I want to congratulate the winner of the September Champion Concept Contest, Stephenizgod!!!! You deserved to be imprinted in the hall of fame with Rio! I hope some of his champion aspects get implemented in the game!

Secondly, I want to refer to my old Champion Preview, Whom Does The Bell Toll. I've noticed a lot of downvotes due to my story being not connected to the League of Legends plot. I merely wanted to focus on the rebellious youths and people of Valoran, trying to display a type of Anarchist view. This champion preview should help shed light on some of this.

Thirdly, this is a continuation of my previous Champion Preview. Once you figure the plot out, you'll understand why I chose this route!

All righty, get some popcorn and soda! It's Preview Time!

Under A Winter Moon, On An Ionian Training Ground

A young boy collapsed as he was hit bluntly in the ribs by his master's training stick. His body plummeted to the floor like an elegant blossom to the ground. The master, unfazed by his pupil's weaknesses, prodded at his student's stiff ribs with a small poke. "Get up, boy. We still have work to do."

The boy groaned as he struggled to get up, reaching for his training staff. As if Fate was merciless, the master kicked away the staff, his cold gaze fixated on his student's pathetic attempts to get up. "No. Real men stand up on their own. Get up."

The boy remained silent as he grunted to get up. All Ionian apprentices were under vow to take an oath of silence until their mastery was completed.

The burning embers of the village coarsens through the air, as fire and smoke cover the village in an ever perpetual darkness...

"You know what I see in you? Nothing but hatred, anger, suffering. A spiritless body billowed away by the fires of revenge. Too blind to see the true purpose of life. Do you know why you are weak? Do you?

The screams of the dying could be heard through the boy's ears. His body was whacked with heat and pain, as he ran towards his home, burning under the perpetual darkness of war...

All the boy could muster was his upright position on his knees. His body shook with absolute pain and guilt, struggling to keep back from tears. For a future surrounded by only darkness and frailty, his only solace was the strict teachings of his master. The boy's cerulean eyes looked up towards his master, staring down at him with disapproving consent.

The master pointed his stick at the boy's head. "Vengeance. That is why you are weak. You're afraid. You're afraid you will dishonor your family like that swordsman lost to the winds of time... Yasuo

*The boy ran as fast as his legs could carry. Through his swift run, he could see the dying. Children crying as they held their mothers and fathers choking under the blood of their throat. Animals groaning and bellowing as they are butchered for sport and game... *

"Yet, here you are. When you first came to me, I was surprised you barely had the chance to return my nod. Although trite and subtle, I gave you a small chance to show some respect to your masters. Apparently, you chose to keep scrubbing the temple floor like an obedient servant. Lower than the position you kneel here today."

As the boy reached his sylvan home, far away from his burning village, he screamed for his family. He needed to find them alive, no matter how much alive they were. He scanned his burning home for his mother, his father, his brothers, anything part of them that could be noticed...

"Out of compassion and mercy, I allowed the temple master to let you into my care. It seems that I have made a mistake letting you in..."

These words made the boy kneel down in sorrow, his tears blanketing the cold grass beneath him. Had he been wronged? Had he let his anger and rage get the best of him?

The master brought the stick down on the boy's back, causing a deafening thud as the boy collapsed on the ground, shaking under the sudden pain. "You feel it?" The master bellowed, "Good! Embrace it! I want you to know how feels to lose everything!"

At last, the boy came across his family. But, at their mercy, was a creature, born out of terrible sorcery to exact killing upon the enemies of Noxus Sion...

Another blow. "I want you to feel our history, scorned by our enemies and spat back upon the world!"

In a desperate attempt, the boy threw himself at the creature. The giant merely swatted him away like a fly. As the boy looked upon his family, kneeling and sobbing for mercy, the boy watched in horror as his family looked at him with one final gaze...

"I want you to see..."

The axe rose up in the air. The boy couldn't stop screaming as it came down.

"I WANT YOU TO SEE, IONIA, YOUR HOMELAND, BURNING! ALL BECAUSE YOUR VENGEANCE LET THEM DIE!!!"

As the boy awoke, all he could do is scream as he lay atop the bodies of his already beheaded family...

The boy had enough. Breaking his vow with a agonizing roar, he tripped the master with a sudden leap at his legs, sending the two to the ground. In a flurry of fists, the master pushed the student off of him, and suddenly, the two were up again. The boy panted, his fists clenched with a new will undiscovered by the master himself. The master chuckled as he brushed himself off. He picked up his training stick, and casually walked in front of the boy.

"Yet, I know you saw that. You saw it all. And, now, I want you to ascend."

Ionia was under a threat greater than any other before. Rebellious youths, sprouting all over Valoran, have been terrorizing the Great Cities in search of a leaderless nation. One they can change to their will.

With a swift motion, the master slammed the training stick down onto the cold grass. The staff shot out of the master's hands and up in the air, pulsating with jade light. As the two stared up at the stick, the sun shot down a white ray of light onto the stick, causing the energy to transform the staff into something much greater.

"Let not your hate guide you. Let your will. Let your conviction strengthen you."

The staff began to unravel, its holdings untwisting from its fragile self, into a weapon, forged by an Ancient Ionian Grandmaster....

The master smiled as he gazed upon his student. "And most importantly of all..."

The ropes plummeted down, onto the student. In a swift flip, the student caught the ropes in his left hand. Instantly, they wrapped around the boy with spiritual force and energy. As the boy landed on the ground, he knelt in front of his master, satisfied at his new will.

"You not a killer. Only a protector. Use your skills to save our dying homeland, and with it, you will find peace with you and your family."

The boy rose, with new-found conviction and strength. His cerulean gaze stared once more at the only man he could call his Master...

"Arise........"
