I've watched this so many times today and am just in awe with how impressive this splash is. I'm a big fan of the animated splashes and this one, despite not even being made by Riot, is one of my favourites!

I have tried experimenting with animated splashes in-client, but it won't accept .gif's or renamed .jpg's/.png's. And I can't for the life of me find the DJ Sona (ultimate skins) animation files, as they aren't where they're supposed to be, for reference. So I suspect the files are .swf's, and hidden somewhere clever.

So while I haven't been able to mod excellent work such as this into the client as a splash art, it can relatively easily be converted into a custom login.

Also, I don't think the current client tech supports animated splash arts. They have to be individually tweaked, such as through Flash animations, to work.
