Champion Concept: Gus - The Ghost Gunner

Lore: A seasoned hitman and assassin from Zaun, Gus earned his nickname of the Ghost Gunner for his meticulousness and precision. There's never a job he's taken that hasn't come up short, until the time he was paid to assassinate the esteemed Heimerdinger at a hextech convention. The client who had hired Gus had previously made threats, and suspecting a hitman, Heimerdinger had requested extra security. Vi and Caitlyn were on the case, and his plan was foiled by his client's too-large mouth, and a drawn out battle with Piltover's finest. Managing to escape, this was also the only time that Gus had ever killed someone who wasn't a target...revenge upon his client for the destruction of his perfect record...and the burying of the evidence of that slight.

Role: Burst damage Marksman (can potentially go almost anywhere)

Base Stats: HP: 495(+76) HP5: 7.0(+.6) MP: 360(+42) MP5: 6.5(+.5) AD: 54(+4.6) AS: .43(+.022) AR: 26(+2.4) MR: 33(+.75) MS: 345 RN: 535

Passive: Reconnaissance - Every 150/120/90s (upgraded at lv 7/13) Gus reveals enemy wards within 500 range of him for 5 seconds. Wards in bushes will only be revealed and trigger this passive if he physically enters a warded bush. In addition, every 3rd basic attack Gus fires does 10%AD bonus magic damage and reveals his target for 2.5s, even in brush or stealth.

Q: Light Grenade - Gus throws a Flashbang at a target area. Enemies in the radius take light magic damage, are nearsighted for 1.5s and take 10% more damage from all sources for the duration. Damage: 40/55/70/95/110(+20%AD)(+20%AP) || Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12s || Cost: 70 mana

W: Black Bullet - Gus loads a corrosive round into his gun, empowering his next auto attack to deal 150/175/200/225/250% damage and ignore 25% of the enemy's armor. If this attack kills its target, the target violently explodes, dealing half its damage dealt to units in a 100 unit radius. basic attack resets. Cooldown: 10s all ranks || Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana.

E: Phantom Procedure - Passive: Whenever Gus enters a bush, he gains stealth. Moving does not break stealth as long as he's in the bush, but enemies who physically walk into the bush will be able to see him if he moves. Attacking or using abilities breaks stealth, and Gus cannot regain stealth through his passive for 10s. (think of this like a nerfed Teemo passive, as using flash to change bushes will still deny you stealth for 10s, unless you flash and immediately use the active.) Active: Gus gains stealth for 2s. If used in a bush, this also grants Gus 10/15/20/25/30% movement speed, and resets the cooldown on the passive portion of this ability. Cooldown: 25/23/21/19/17s

R: "Target Marked" - Gus fires a remote controlled projectile that follows your cursor as it flies. Upon hitting terrain, an enemy champion, or exceeding its range, it calls down a barrage of missiles over the next 3s. If the marker hit a champion, this zone of missiles will follow the marked enemy until the duration ends, or the target dies. Killing an enemy champion with this ability refunds 25% of its cooldown. It's extremely possible to kill multiple enemies with this for a better reset Damage: Initial Skillshot: 50/100/150(+55%AD) Barrage: 150/250/350(+55%AD) over 3s (This may need some scaling down...total is 200/350/500(+105%AD) on initial hit + 3s duration...pretty powerful, but that also requires you to actually land your rc skillshot, which will move slightly faster than sion when he ults, but turn at about the same speed, therefore being pretty difficult to control.) Cooldown: 180/150/120s || Cost: 100/125/150 mana.

Why did you add ap scaling for his passive and q? and don't you think 0.43 AS at level 1 is a bit too little? And since his ult is controlling a drone-like thing, does that mean you are immobile while controlling it? Is it possibly to make it like controlling annie's bear, where you control it by pressing alt then right clicking?

You mentioned a possibly combo being q/auto/w-auto/enter bush, but don't you think you should add something on his e's passive that empowers his auto everytime he enters a bush. Since he is a hitman, it would make since if he pulls out a sniper or something only if he is in the bush for extra range and damage.

Neat concept, and btw if his w a reference to the anime?

(You probably wonder why I am visiting half of your posts, I am just amazed at how often can someone come up with a concept)

Basic combo in lane is as simple as auto/Q/auto/W-auto/hide on bush. deals decent damage, making sure to get your passive and your full damage in underneath 10% increased damage. This may be one of the few times I overtune a champion instead of undertuning them in my initial concept. xD

Obvious weakness is that almost all his damage comes from basic attacks (empowered or not) so he'll fall hard to a few champions (Pantheon ,Jax , Rammus , and most assassins, to name a few)

His escape is also pretty limited, as a 2s stealth is not a very large window, so (again with assassins) champions with good mobility can also be an issue for him if he gets caught out. I think his lack of good defensive options can make his offensive power a little more balanced.

A month later, I came back to where it all begin.

I want to say sorry, now that I look back at my old "analyses," I realize I was just critizicing other's works. Fortunately for me, Nasu correctly me pretty early on in one of Voidling's posts. Even when I look at them, I am annoyed by how I ask so many questions (I was almost pestering other). I have tried to change the way I analyze, which is quite obvious since I no longer write essays to suggest a simple thing (sometimes it's still necessary though).

I also want to say thank you. Without seeing your concepts, I would never become a fellow concept creator. There are no "what-if's", but I know if I never saw your concept, I would probably never make my own and remain as one of those pratical people at gameplay+. Most of my concepts get at least some views (thanks to the pictures in most cases), and that wouldn't be possible without anyone of you (you, Voidling, and Nasu).

and lastly.... Are you planning something big with Voidling? You guys are literally inactive for a few days now, and that's extremely unusual for either of you.

Happy lunar new year btw, one day late but whatever.
