Kai, Ninja of Elements
Here's a concept for a new ninja character. Already got 3 male ninja's so here's a ninja chick to keep Akali company!
Kai uses energy to combine her abilities in specific order to create different outcomes. She uses ninjitsu signs with her hands and fights bare-handed. She utilizes all 4 main elements: Water, fire, earth, and wind. I'll start with her R ability first since it's most important.
R (ultimate): Release Kai starts off with her R ability right away, as it's necessary to activate her other abilities. An additional effect is added based on the LAST PREVIOUS ABILITY Kai used before activating Release. Additional effects increase in potency as R is leveled. Kai's other abilities can be chained together before being released, stacking the effects together.
Q: Fire Sign Kai performs a quick hand sign and uses a portion of her energy. When released, a flaming dragon will appear, circling around Kai but increasing it's distance from Kai as it rotates. If the dragon comes within range of an enemy champion, it hunts it down, dealing physical damage and adding a slow that increases based on how far it travels before it reaches the enemy. If Fire Sign is the last used sign when released, Release will cause Kai's next auto attack to dash towards her target and deal bonus damage. Multiple casts of Q before release increase the number of Dragons that appear, but an enemy champion cannot be effected by more then one dragon.
W: Water Sign Kai performs a quick hand sign and uses a portion of her energy. When released, a pool of water appears under Kai's feet, instantly healing her fora moderate amount and increasing health regeneration for a short time. After a small delay, the water suddenly spreads out from Kai and gushes upwards, knocking up enemies caught and dealing magic damage. If Water Sign was the last sign used before release, the heal amount is doubled and enemies surrounding Kai are knocked back and slowed. Multiple casts of W increase the healing and damage as well as the potency of the knock up.
E: Wind sign Kai performs a quick hand sign and uses a portion of her energy. When released, Kai gains increased movement and attack speed and deals bonus magic damage with her auto attacks. If Wind sign is the last sign used before release, Kai will also become untargetable for 1 second. Multiple casts of E increase the potency.
Passive: Earth sign When Kai stands still and takes no damage for a set time, she gains massive energy regeneration, allowing for multiple casts of her regular abilities when normally she would run out of energy.
Kai is meant to be a very fast paced champion, requiring quick reflexes and fast inputs. Kai is most comfortable in top lane or mid as either a full ad build or hybrid for more sustain and magic damage from her W and E. Her passive allows her to take advantage of her position to quickly chain together her signs for a deadly potent Release. She can engage a teamfight by stacking W with Q, then dashing into the enemy team and knocking them up. She can trade in lane with her E, dodging the first enemy attack after release then fighting with increased speed. For chasing, she can stack up her q and unleash the chasing dragons to hunt down the enemy so her team can close in for the kill. Kai is a versatile champ with many combinations to choose from depending on the situation.
The cooldowns on all her abilities are meant to be near instantaneous, Kai's hands a blur of signs as you enter in the chain of commands before release. The only exception is when you want to chain in the max amount (5?) of signs before release, which would always require her to be under the effect of Earth Sign for increased energy. During this time, her team would do well to protect her as she builds up her ultimate combo, whichever she chooses.
