Champion Concept: Jing Zi, the Mirror of Ionia

This is merely a rough outline of this champion concept. Nothing is finalized just yet. Please leave your thoughts in the comments on how I can improve his kit or if it's too strong or too weak in some areas or altogether. Other things like lore, art, quotes, and special interactions will be added in the near future. The idea was to keep his kit simple, yet effective.

Introduction Jing Zi is semi-long ranged melee swordsman from Ionia. He specializes in turning fights around by turning opponents' attacks against them. He wields a long katana-like blade known as an Nodachi. He is not extremely mobile, however his strength is not to be trifled with. He fights with honor and dignity and is a highly respected warrior in Ionia. Few can best him in a long fight and his mysterious powers make up for his lack of potential in short trades.

Abilities

Passive: Exalted Strikes Jing Zi's auto attacks grow stronger with each consecutive hit dealing 2.5% of his base attack damage as bonus damage on hit stacking up to five times (total 12.5% bonus damage on hit). At five stacks the bonus damage is changed to true damage. Changing targets or not attacking the same target within 4 seconds resets the strength of his auto attacks down to normal.

Q: Nulling Strike Jing Zi strikes forward in a straight line with his Nodachi, damaging and slowing all enemies hit. Any ranged attack struck by the blade is nullified and turned into a ball of energy. If a ball of energy is created, Nulling Strike's cooldown is refunded and the ability becomes Reflective Slash. Caster Minion and Cannon Minion attacks do not interact with this ability. (Just like Yasuo's windwall and Braum's ice shield, it cannot stop lasers like Lux's ultimate) Reflective Slash Jing Zi slashes the closest ball of energy within range, sending it towards the nearest enemy champion in a straight line damaging all enemies hit.

W: Mirror Force Jing Zi becomes surrounded in a magical reflective shield for 1.5 seconds. All attacks and abilities that hit Jing Zi during the duration of his shield are reflected back at the attacker dealing half the damage it would have done to Jing Zi. (Once again this ability does not stop lasers like Lux's ultimate).

E: Rending Steel Jing Zi creates a barrier in front of him and catches a non ranged attack from an enemy champion, canceling the attack and halting the attacker in place momentarily as Jing Zi slashes through them with his blade at a blinding speed (similar to how Master Yi vanishes momentarily during his Alpha Strike except for much shorter duration) appearing again on the opposite side of the opponent. The enemy champion's armor is cut in half for 2 seconds after the strike. This ability only effects the first enemy champion that hits the barrier, but any attacks following from enemies cannot hit Jing Zi while he is slashing.

R: Mirror of Susano'o Jing Zi creates a large mirror barrier in front of him for 2 seconds stopping all attacks from enemy champions that hit it and channeling the energy into his Nodachi. Jing Zi then takes his Nodachi and rapidly dashes and slashes through all enemy champions that struck the mirror, the shine of his blade trailing behind his movements only able to be seen of him as he slashes back and forth from one enemy to the other, dealing damage to them all equal to 50%/60%/70% of all the damage the mirror took.

Hahaha yeah [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] this what am talking about no changes necessary big fan of ronin and samurai era so i totally support this i even did a concept before I saw this lol

good work I'd love to play this but seem like all he has is a parry though you should at least give him a dash or an attack speed boost again good job

OK then how about

[E] Sakura counter: Jing clears his mind focusing (hold) and entering a stance for up to 4 seconds during this time he is unable to move or act while anticipates a non ranged attack from an enemy champion. This ability cancels the damage of attack and stuns the attacker for 1 second as Jing Zi slashes through them with his blade at a blinding speed (similar to how Master Yi vanishes momentarily during his Alpha Strike except for much shorter duration) appearing again on the opposite side of the opponent, after a bride delay a crimson flower sprays a 500 units area fearing surrounding enemy units. The enemy champion hit by this ability has their armor cut in half for 4 seconds after the strike.


Then we can change his

[W] Dance of the Tengu : Jing zi calls on the tengu spirit of his blade firing a 60° air wave 800 units in a target direction slowing enemy champions hit and gain 40% increased attack and movement speed for the next 5 seconds. This ability can be held to instead channel the spirit for up to 4 seconds dashing forward up to 800 units dealing damage to enemy units along his path and bleeding them for 50% of his missing health for 5 seconds, this ability has a 40% chance to critically strike, unaffected by items.


So he can either slice and move like the wind or hold it to increase the range for a dash cut

Hmmm although the q is good 8 would not call it a teamed ability since he needs someone else to perform it, so in that regard I'd stay with the wave since its a self cast offensive projectile, there is the option of combining the two but that leave a open ability slot, thoughts?
