Champion Conception Librarium: Where Champion Concepts Rise and Flourish UPDATE 1.3

Welcome to the Champion Concept Librarium

Here, you can post links to champion concepts that you've had so that other people may find it and take a look, giving your concepts more publicity and renown. As this post goes on, I will repost this so that way it doesn't get lost deep within the archives and will always be easy to find for viewers old and new. As I update the page, I will feature champion concepts that I find really interesting and think others should see. Some of the ones I will feature simply because they are good ideas that don't get enough attention by the viewers. All you have to do is

  • Post a link to your champion concepts in the comments below.

and

  • Give a brief description of your champion including name, role (mage, tank, fighter, marksman, support, assassin), and any other attributes or descriptions you want to add.

To get featured, you must have at the minimum the champions lore and abilities listed in a detailed and and organized fashion on your concept's page. The only information that will be listed for any featured concepts will be the name of the champion and the link to the post. Any champion concepts that aren't featured that had been posted in the comments when I update the page will have links and names added to the Librarium Archives. Feel free to look around and enjoy your time here in the Librarium.

Please refrain from any inappropriate behaviour in the comments below or there may be consequences based upon your actions.

News

Well, well. We're really starting to get somewhere, now. We received a good amount of concept submissions on the last update page. Newcomers in the Archives include Kasroc, Mary Aunette, Senna, Tobias, and Zimn. We added another concept to the featured list. Say hello to Showers: The 4th Wall Breaker. Although Showers may not be a serious concept considering it's a champion that would only be open on 4th of July, it's still a very interesting and fun concept. The reason this concept is featured is because it's fun, unique, and enjoyable. Keep that in mind when making a new champion concept, because that's what people viewing the concept like to see, along with how applicable the concept is and the mechanics of the champion. We hope this inspires you viewers to really grind the gears in your head and think up something great. Keep on posting your concepts so we can expand our growing realm of knowledge! Hi, really awesome that you're doing a thing like this! I always thought it was such a shame on the old forums that there where hundreds of concepts burrowed on the forums, without ever being looked at again. Since the boards haven't been around for as long, perhaps it's not too late to avoid this yet here?

I'll submit my favorite of my own concepts: Xanir, The Child of Twilight.

Primary Role: Support Secondary Role: Assassin

It's a light/darkness themed, shapeshifting support who uses two resources: One that is generated in the light-themed form that empowers the dark-themed forms abilities and vice versa.

Also a suggestion: I think it would be good to categorize concepts based on their primary role. It'd make it easier for people to find what they might be interested in and can possibly take inspiration from.

Really cool that you're hosting a public compendium, but like Destinum said roles would be great!

That said, I want to submit what I consider my best concepts:

#Dane, the Silver Star

This lone, soft-spoken sheriff from a outskirt town in Fyrone goes all or nothing, exhibiting a playstyle uniquely his own.

With an insane high-risk, high-reward kit that takes a stab at the ammo system for the adc, you're not quick to forget the Silver Star.

Role: Marksman (ADC)

#Gnarr, The Harvester

A grisly stalker with an insatiable appetite, Gnarr is a dark omen to all who face his cold, lifeless eyes. It promises years of torment, torture, and horror until he finally cuts the strings and kills you, though not necessarily quickly.

Gnarr is based on a farm-based power curve, giving a repeatable high when you farm well while playing him that gets stronger as the game goes on.

Role: Jungler

#Han, the Resolute

Han may not look menacing, or wish harm on his opponents, but his rigorous discipline and iron will allowed him to defeat his greatest fear: himself.

Using a form change triggered on autoattacks, he can change his playstyle accordingly, while also providing opportunities to boggle the enemy with expert timing and aim.

Role: Mid lane

Hi there, I appreciate what you're doing here and wondered if I might be featured as well. My link is posted below for a unique Space/Time Continuum themed champion that goes by the name Maverick, the Dimensional Drifter. He's a mage that thrives on both management of resources as well as a few elements of trickery. It's hard to compete with posts about Urgot's missing nipples.... lol so I'm thankful you've considered this library of sorts.

Hey, this is an interesting place and a good idea so i guess i will go ahead with mine. (the summoner name on their is mikey the pikey, that was my original NA account, but i transfered my more used and more useful EUW account to NA so i had to have a similar but different name) Name: Rogthar the potions failure (thinking of name change since i think it is terrible) Roles: tank Secondary role: high ad fighter (no as)

Rogthar is basically a poor man doing odd jobs, took a potion testing job and then all hell broke loose. He has an explosive personality and really likes to blow up the competition with his dynamite skills and booming ablities.

But in all seriousness he hates everything and has a really burnt up voice and will pretty much follow no one.

Holy crap. I'm gone for less than a week to find a lot of work for me to do. This is gonna take a while XD which is good. It means that the Librarium is getting attention.

Grace, the Avalanche of Steel)

A half-troll from the Freljord, Grace is a cheerful hunter within the Freljord who has found herself allied with the Winter's Claw.

While not terribly unique in terms of playstyle, Grace is nevertheless intended as fun to play and works well on teams with crowd control.

Role: Fighter

Aibell, Death's Knell

A psychopomp who sang to the souls of the dying to call them to the afterlife, Aibell was dispatched by Death to collect those who had escape their own ends.

Aibell is a quick assassin who may not be as bursty as some and relies on her combos, but she is good at catching those who thought they could escape and dragging them into the afterlife.

Role: Assassin/Mage

Hadwyn, the Gathering Force

Once a pirate, Hadwyn abandoned life upon the seas after discovering a hextech power suit, using it to become a crime boss upon the land.

Hadwyn focuses upon mobility, slowly becoming an unstoppable force who can lead the charge into battle.

Role: Support/Tank
