(Concept) What if the LoL client was like the BattleNet client?

No muss, no fuss, no clutter. The client will only be used for patching the game, reading the patch notes, logging in, and chatting. Everything else will be moved into the actual game, much like HOTS, DOTA and Overwatch function. Changing runes, viewing profiles, replays, the store... All will be embedded into a fullscreen League of Legends, including background music for enhanced atmosphere.

While in queue, players will be able to use the shop, watch LCS, and chat with people as usual, right from the game. But, there will also be an option to go to the Practice Tool and practice there while the player is in queue. Practice tool will have not only every champion unlocked, but also every skin unlocked, so players could "test drive" a skin before purchasing. Switching between champions, skins, and enemy bots will all be possible from Practice tool.

The Death recap will now have a "Replay/Kill cam" feature, so while the player is dead, instead of staring at the grey screen, they can replay few seconds before their death, from the enemy's perspective, and see what and where mistakes were made.

Riot, every one of your copetitor's games listed above has been able to adopt these technologies and provide and modernized fluid stable game experience. Legaue may appear to be "hyperpolished" on the surface, but at its core, it's still a 2009 piece of software. And eventually, this will be the game's downfall. It's time to put less focus on tournaments and new champions and start to fix and modernize what have been Legue's problems for years. Othewise, the game will suffer a slow but certain death.

Riot, you're no longer a small indie company supplied only with toothpicks and duct tape. It's time to upgrade! It's time to evolve! It's time to change for the better! It's time to exit 2009 and enter 2019!

They killed off a huge chunk of their playerbase, i wouldn't be suprised if they just keep finding new ways to sell things.

Improvement like that is out the window for riot.
