Some skins in this game are vastly outdated. A legendary skin made 4 years ago is on par with or worse than some epic skins coming out today. I know Riot is busy with a lot of things, but looking at giving some older skins some love would be a good idea.
No point in getting a Legendary skin when I can get a skin that's better for far cheaper :/ .
they do rework the skins but generally only when they rework the champ
Standards for Legendary skins are pretty high now. Completely new voiceovers, dramatic VFX changes, and in many cases a completely new model and animations. That's a huge amount of work, and it's just not worth Riot's time to do that for skins that a lot of people already bought, and probably didn't have a worthwhile concept to begin with (ex. Firefighter Tristana). Especially when they have a lot of those people busy on VGUs.
