GO AHEAD AND GIVE ANY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. This lore is going to be the lore surrounding a series of new Skins for Azir Nasus and Sivir, I am thinking an Ultimate for Nasus or Azir. Part two will be released next week!

A golden light hung in the night sky, a mysterious emblem of the sun in the dark, a powerful gem amongst the vast and lifeless desert. Not even the stars could match the vitality with which the light burned, not even the stars could match the flames which it encrusted the skies with. The desert floor was desolate only the occasional gusts of winds came through taking the sand with them to some far mile, then habitually bringing it back. But, in the midst of this emptiness a light like never before seen shown its energy onto the land. Where the light reached so too would life come, the yellow sands became gold, assortments of birds and other mystical things began to inhabit the desert. All the creatures of the land held the magics of the light with bewilderment, not knowing of its true meaning, only its meaning of life. This was the secret oasis of deserts of Shurima, a hidden lush behind the sands of desolation. It went untouched by man, yordle and voidling alike that was until the daughter of Shurima stepped foot onto the golden plains of sand. It was many years before that oasis had formed but only now had it been found by a human eye, it cultivated the sands into gardens of fruit and fruitful gardens. This daughter of Shurima did not break the quiet spell of life, she was welcomed, but those who followed her brought corruption through with every waking footstep. Sivir ran for the light as did those who were chasing her, she had lead them astray from the treasures she promised them in order to keep it all for herself. Only if she knew what treasures she would find beyond the light, perhaps she was drawn to the light for other reasons than the light. Perhaps it was a cultural heritage which engulfed her to find her true home; the raiders who followed her closed in, yet they were different than when she had previously seen them. The creatures that followed her were not even human any more, they were purple beasts of enormous size; they had fangs almost as tall as her. Their feet shook the ground causing thunderous claps each time they hit a stone, each time they stepped in the sand their feet sunk to seemingly the center of the planet. They were void monsters, otherworldly monsters of immense strength and even more potent evil magics. The floating light, the Sun Disc, gifted Sivir a burst of energy to carry her further to the Disc. She tumbled along the way but her end goal did not change; as she closed the gap the light burned ever brighter. It was tantalizing, it made the creatures follow her turn away, it was far too bright for any Void creature to withstand. Yet their malicious march was not slowed, they continued forward step after step. Finally exhaustion breached the remaining energy that Sivir carried; she collapsed on the sand floor below. Her breaths began to slow, they were more strained and weak, each one was quieter than the last. The creatures halted before the light, it continued to grow brighter and brighter, it shot out rays of energy towards the creatures. They were immediately turned to sand merely blown off into the skies. A man awoke in the Temple of Shurima, he felt a calling, there was a voice asking him, no, begging him to come closer. Without even noticing he began to run towards it, it was as if he was made for this purpose. As he drew nearer he felt more life than he had ever felt before, his heart raced, it sounded as though trums were carrying him on. Till he found her, she lay on the sands before him. Without even thinking he pulled her in close and hurried to the waters of life below the temple’s floor. The waters were green, there was a hazy green gas floating above it and with not a word he dropped her into the pool. He stumbled backwards, his energy was drained, and he fell onto a rock. The man could no longer move, he could just only see the ceiling above. It was covered with golden crests and large gears and metal poles, some ancient technology. Suddenly the gears began to rotate, the ceiling began to slide over letting in the light of the disc. It shone through with such ferocity the man felt like he was burning alive. He moved his head down, his legs began to dissipate. The man began to scream till he was nothing, his ashes floated around in the air; around them gathered an enormous about of golden energy. Sivir awoke, she just lied there floating in the glowing green water below her. It was blissful, an eye in the forever stormy Runeterra. Paradise on Runeterra. Yet the light broke the silence of ignorance, she too heard a voice call her. “Daughter of Shurima!” It was a commanding voice, more powerful than she had ever heard. It was the Shuriman Emperor of Legend, the now ascended Azir. He stood tall towering over her, his armor shone with golden intensity. His gaze was almighty, yet it seemed dreamy. He looked at her for a moment, then began to walk up the stairs to the surface sands above. There were horrible sounds of metal on stone following him, they played in a perfect beat, she merely followed. “Arise!” From the sands rose homes, villagers, ancient people of shurima, but they were illusions. Hallucinations of another time, Azir’s time. The people scurried in the streets, they were going from store to store. Every time Azir passed them they bowed, they would just stand there for a moment then fall back to the sands. Sivir looked to Azir, he looked lost, as if everything he had none had just become nothing, and had no meaning. He stood still for a moment, the sand gather below him forming an enormous throne. Azir than sat, beckoning Sivir to come forward, her little foot steps were nothing compared to his own. “Daughter of Shurima, tell me of what has happened here.” He spoke ancient Shuriman, a language only spoken among few others. Sivir just stood in silence, in awe; she was just taking him in. She had heard stories of this man, how he single handedly fended off more than a thousand raiders, she could tell that they were not myth but truth. “As they call you now, Sivir, what has happened here in my Shurima!” His voice compelled her to answer. “Time.” Is that all she could think of! Time? “Has this been nothing but sands? Where have my people gone…” He paused, it began to sink in. The people of Shurima were no longer. “What were those unholy creatures following you?! Shuriman Daughter, this I must know, one who harms one Shuriman harms them all.” Sivir explained that they were creatures of the Void, some of them were larger and even more powerful than any known Runeterran. “The Void does not know of Shurima, the Void does not know of the Ascended!” Azir followed up with a series of questions asking how to find the monsters and where they came from. It was a long series of nights and days that Azir and Sivir marched to portal from which the Voidlings enter Runeterra.
