Xavash Ember of the Dragon
Challenges: Serpentine river:champion works off fury meter. Demacia(Bonus Challenge**:Champions Winged blaze deals more damage depending on enemy missing health.
Lore: "Heed these words my son. The world of man is not welcoming to all."
I hear her words in my head every day. Ever since I was born, I felt like a malicious sensation of ridicule and disdain was on my back. Just because I was different, doesn't mean I can't handle myself. Either way, I intend to make a mark if need be.
Some hunters come by through the marsh and briar near the riverside one day. They should know these parts of Runeterra aren't meant for just wandering in alone. They look like they came from the north considering the tough wooley furs they were wearing.
The longer they stick around, the harder it is keeping food plentiful in this age. Plus, mom never likes company of the human variety. So I simply help clear any issues of domain ownership. Being what I am helps put enough fear in them to make my point.
One of their members was straggling behind them. With that, I took that one out by knocking down the biggest tree there with my bare foot. Its weight was enough to crush him when it came down from one hard shove.
That was to help thin out the problem before making my entrance. I step out with my clawed talons raking the ground beneath as my plated apparel heralded my entrance with their weight. All I had to do was give a simple snort and they all want a piece of me.
Though what caught me off guard was their burliest one bearing what looked like a runed axe big enough to slice a section of forest. Didn't think anything of the third war was still around. I pull my blade from over my shoulder, aiming its claymore sized length at their strongest man.
I squeeze onto the handle to pour my passion and fury into it, igniting the blade ablaze from guard to tip. I swing away at their strongest man, clashing steel against steel. When the two others tried flanking me on either side, I had to remind them of what I am.
My back unfurls my leathery wings, smacking both of them away when my wings become wreathed in the same fire of rage. It didn't take long for me to down their biggest man, as my fire had held a unique trait. Unlike any other fire, mine seemed to burn more than just timber and ash.
I look down onto their bodies as I stare quietly with a burning fury in my eyes. However, my time with them was interrupted by heavy footfalls from a distance. It was then that some trees parted away to show the hulking red draconic image that looms over them all from behind me.
She gives one big roar great enough to send them running for the hills after. I took a silent look back at her, and all she does is greet me with a warm embrace of heat. That's my mother for you.

- Gameplay
- Xavash's gameplay is better suited for either an aggressive push top lane or a hard hitting jungle. Like any bruiser, he aims to leap into action, slow his main targets, and burn away their health as long as they can. He benefits better being an Aggressor in team fights and pulling attention to himself for his harmful burst potential on a squishy enemy team. What makes him unique is the benefit of treating a tank as another easy target due to his combination of peel and true damage.
- Going for the jungle requires good wave clear and a focused understanding of your intended path. Your fastest jungling will most likely be the bruiser route, and will definitely require you to start on the red jungle regardless of what path you take. Fang of the Dragon is your go-to for sustain in the jungle, as well as Winged blaze for clearing out camps with relative speed. When ganking, make sure you have your Leap of the Wyvern aimed ahead of your target, and follow up with a Winged blaze to keep your ganked target from escaping.
- Top lane becomes a fierce competition of last hitting and sustaining. Fang of the Dragon will be your optimal pick for such a thing, along with some hard lifesteal items to go with it. Enemies trying to leap in on you can be staved with a winged blaze for a hard slow and a Leap of the Wyvern if chase continues. When receiving ganks from the jungle, you're the go-to for initiating it. One leap of the wyvern and Winged blaze can keep a target from just 'walking away' from a gank without harassment. Pokes and ranged top laners can easily be a bane for such a champion.
- Items
- The start of each game comes with the knowledge of what you intend.
Building a Machette is always a necessity. However, there are three paths you can take with this in terms of your game skill and capable ability. There is the Bruiser path, Tank path, and Carry path.
Spirit of the Elder Lizard takes the path of a bruiser and a team fighter. With fast wave clear thanks to it and open room for ganks with Leap of the Wyvern, it makes him quite deadly as it also synergizes with his true damage infliction with his innate. Going with
Black Cleaver also makes room for faster ability casts and greater shred against an enemy's armor.
Spirit of the Ancient Golem does not give as much fast wave clear, but it does beef up the power of his Winged Blaze with the bonus health it grants. Thus it allows for a tankier route that can also include
Atma's impaler for allowing some extra bonus damage and being well rounded.
Randuin's Omen also synergizes very exceptionally with his initiation, following up after his Winged Blaze.
Wriggles lantern is for those who can even handle carrying with him on attack speed alone. Coupled with
Blade of the Ruined king, it synergizes with his Fang of the Dragon on mixed damage in auto attacks.
Wits end helps with prolonged fights and greater attack speed on a single target, as well as coupled magic resistance shred for his Winged Blaze and when managing to build into
Feral Flare.- There are times when you want to take the top lane with him, but match-ups with the top lane will be later described.
Doran's blade is always a must-have for any who can handle being able to handle up front aggression, or dish it back out.
Doran's Shield is only a must have if one intends to take the more tankier route from early to mid game. - Finally, we have optional items he can be capable of taking.
Frozen mallet has significant health for a tanky build, and keeps enemies close with each auto attack if not taking
Randuin's Omen. Being a sub-carry, he can also take
Guardian Angel if he's really being focused on. Last, there's choice in boots.
Boots of Mobility in the jungle help him hasten his movement from camp to camp if given a good amount of time. If in lane, or in any other occasion,
Ninja Tabi grants the resistances he needs against AD and auto attack heavy champions.
Mercury Threads are always the better option against CC heavy and AP heavy team compositions, and
Ionic Boots of lucidity are for those who believe they can take the punishment and rely more on their ability casting and Fang of the Dragon Procs.
