I honestly think its a well-played ult, but it should be considered for healing and freezing. Not just freezing, because I think that it's not a very helpful ult. I mean yeah it freezes allies and enemies, but it should have healing just to make it a considered support ult. If you disagree to this, I'm fine with that and I'm just saying.
They already have their go-to healer support - and even though making it freeze allies isn't automatically powerful (that is, it can be both beneficial or a drawback, depending on how it is used) but it makes it one of those "Good Bard players will know how to use this" kind of abilities. They already devoted a portion of his kit, so I like that they kept this ability purely tactical rather than healing or buffing.
