A champion that disguises himself as an allied champion? "Oh look we caught their adc out on her own let's get her!" "OMG THE HORROR RUN"

Lets say an enemy that is playing this champion kills one of your allies, the announcer doesn't announce it, because that champion is now disguised as one of your allies. And instead of showing the enemy dying, it shows you dying.

That might be too complicated. Especially since counterplay is chatting hey guys, the enemy just killed me.

Even that could be countered easily, though. You just need consensus. For example tell everyone in your team: When you killed that champion, type ":D" in chat. If you don't, we automatically assume it was the other way around and the enemy is now disguised as you.

The whole idea still doesn't work out. That kind of champion would have all his power budget put in that feature, leaving him no strength for his kit to actually get to the point of killing an enemy.

Mind games like this can easily be countered with map awareness and team communication and unless this champ gets to be the disguised champ for a while like that new one from Smite, this is purely redundant as you can see your real ally on the minimap or know if they're dead through other means.

LeBlanc already does "mind games" better than this without the need to shapeshift anyway with her Ult.

Well the point is to allow counterplay... I don't want to be the guy making op 10000 true damage champs.
