Break the sword when Riven gets a Pentakill. She clearly doesn't need it after that.
Just leave it like it is, it looks nice and to be honest i dont like her broken swords, they look awfull
The sword should be broken, because there's not much difference when she ults. Also riven isn't broken if you don't play her correctly, there are such things as "bad" rivens.
